Restaurant Review: Great Food, Terrible Management

I recently visited [Restaurant Name], and while the food was absolutely delicious, the overall experience was frustrating due to poor management.

Food: 5/5 The taste was incredible! Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and well-prepared. You can tell the chefs put effort into making the food stand out. If you’re coming purely for the taste, you won’t be disappointed.

Service & Management: 1/5 The service was chaotic. Orders were delayed, some items were missing, and the staff seemed confused most of the time. Even getting a simple update on my order was a struggle. It felt like there was zero coordination between the kitchen and the serving staff.

Ambiance: 3/5 Decent atmosphere, but the overall experience was ruined by the mismanagement. The place could be great if they just improved their service.

Overall: 3/5 If you have the patience to deal with slow and unorganized service, the food is worth it. But if you expect smooth service and efficiency, be prepared for disappointment. Would I come back? Maybe—but only...

I recently visited Govinda’s – International Chain of Restaurant after quite a long gap, and it was nice to be back. The place still carries its calm, welcoming vibe, and the overall ambience is neat and peaceful, making it a good spot for a relaxed meal. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring guests felt comfortable and well taken care of.

This time, I went for breakfast and decided to try their idli. While the idli itself was a bit on the harder side, making it slightly difficult to cut through, the real highlight of the dish was in the accompaniments. The sambar and chutney were fresh, flavorful, and well-balanced — the kind of taste that makes you want to go for extra servings. If you’re visiting, I highly recommend trying it as dip idli, where you soak the idli directly in the sambar — trust me, you’ll thank me later for this little hack.

One important point to note — Rupay card UPI payments don’t work here.

(25 Dec 2023, 1:30 PM) •they got us a table of 4 later on we had more guests so we saw a table of 6 which was empty we asked the captain in white shirt if we could relocate to the empty table of 6, he agreed. Then later another fellow came asking where is our token and we had to again go back to the same table. The counter person came and said "galat mat karo" without even knowing that his restaurant person gave us permission to use the table.

Such an embarishment and that Srila Prabhupada struggled so hard to make devotees and the service mood he had.

These people are not devotees, not willing to understand the situation of the customer, Request the temple President Rahdeshyam prabhu to replace the ownershi/management of this restaurant seriously.

The food also does not taste good in comparison to ISKCON Pune camp temple's Chinese, pizza these fellow are not even 10% near there taste.
