Let’s get one thing straight — the food was fine. Not worth complaining about, but definitely not worth coming back for. Sadly, it was the best part of the entire experience, which says a lot.
Now let’s talk about the service — or the complete lack of it. The staff carried themselves like they couldn’t be bothered to exist, let alone serve. No greeting, no water, no sense of responsibility. We had to ask for water, and even then, we were ignored like we were invisible. In a hospitality business, that’s not just careless — it’s embarrassing.
And the highlight? A server took my plate while I was still eating. No eye contact. No “Are you done?” Just walked up and snatched it like I didn’t matter. That’s not bad service — that’s outright disrespectful. If your team is this disinterested in their jobs, maybe they shouldn't be in hospitality at all.
The ambience? Bland, cramped, and loud in the worst way. The layout is so poorly designed that placing dishes feels like a game of Tetris. Comfort clearly wasn’t a priority here.
This place has no soul, no standards, and no excuse. You don’t just come here and leave disappointed — you leave frustrated that you even wasted your time and money in the first place.
Final verdict: Not returning, not recommending, not even thinking about it again. If you're looking for a place that actually respects its guests —...
Read moreOh where to begin. We were vacationing in Jalandhar earlier this year and were looking for healthy food options: cue Buland. The food is decent. It’s healthy and the bread is actually delicious, but that’s all.
First of all, there’s this young girl at the counter and she has such a nasty attitude. And literally for what?? We’re from the states, English is our first language. And yet every time I’ve walked into Buland speaking Punjabi I’ve somehow been met with condescension? It’s funny because half the time I couldn’t understand this girl’s broken English. But when I spoke English, she couldn’t understand me.
The wait time. OMG where should I start. We’ve been here multiple times over the course of two months and not once was our food brought out in a reasonable amount of time. For example, one time my entrée was brought out 20 minutes before my mother’s, like was I supposed to eat while she looked at my face?? Another time, I ordered a coffee at the counter and took them 40 minutes to make it (I had to literally remind them that I was waiting on coffee and each time the server would forget I ordered it). Like bfr.
TLDR; not the only place that has good food in Jalandhar, nasty attitude, and horrible service. Please learn some customer service skills. You’re not doing anyone a favor by serving them it’s...

Forced to write this after what can only be described as one of the most infuriating and disappointing experiences I’ve ever had at any so-called “establishment.” This place is a masterclass in how to ruin a special occasion.
Let’s start with the cake — a simple request, completely butchered. The message was so hopelessly written, it stripped the cake of all meaning. What was meant to be a thoughtful gesture turned into an embarrassing mess, thanks to a staff that clearly couldn’t care less about attention to detail.
Speaking of staff, the behavior was appalling. One woman in particular — wearing wooden beads around her neck — stood out for being shockingly rude and dismissive. Her attitude alone could tank the place’s reputation. There’s a way to deal with customers, and this staff seems proudly unaware of it.
This entire place is a case study in being overhyped and grossly overrated. From the service to the ambience to the sheer lack of professionalism, everything was a letdown.
If you’re looking to spend money where it’s respected and more importantly, where your time and occasion aren’t ruined, choose a...
