Extremely Disappointing Experience at Chanan Mal Sweets, Abohar

Visited Chanan Mal Sweets and had the most unpleasant experience. After purchasing snacks worth ₹780, the staff rudely demanded extra charges for disposable plates, which we needed to eat the snacks. When I raised the issue with the owner, he was shockingly rude and completely indifferent.

What kind of service is this? Fighting over 4 disposable plates after a customer spends a significant amount is shameful and reflects poorly on their values. To make matters worse, I observed several unhygienic practices during my visit, which raises serious concerns about their food preparation standards.

I am taking this issue to the FSSAI portal and will be filing an official complaint to ensure a thorough inspection of their warehouse and hygiene practices. Such behavior is unacceptable, and they need to be held accountable.

There is a popular saying in Hindi, "Uunchi dukaan, feeka pakvaan" same goes for them. Earlier the quality of the food used to be good, but the recent 3-4 visits were horrible, the food served is either stale or cold or not cooked properly. There is no answer to your complaints, the staff isn't helpful at all.
