I visited Jawali di hatti yesterday. Personally for me it was nostalgia for my days of school and college. I remember back in those days we used to visit jawali regularly. So visiting Jawali after more than a decade was really refreshing. Jawali is popular for yummy and tasty pakoras. This recipe is unique and that's why it is so popular in the entire region not only in the city. Many people from hundreds of kilometres visit jawali whenever they get a chance to visit Jalandhar cantt. The looks, vibes and taste of jawali is still the same. I think this place is totally overhyped, to me it seemed so very basic in taste. I mean agar ghar mai tum pyaaz k pakode bhi bnaoge to vo zyada better lgenge. Yea i get it its moong daal pakodas but thing is even ur mom can add more spices and cook it better with the same ingredients. Bought half kilos from there for a small 5 people gathering. Had some more foods ordered, pakodas were the least liked item. Guess its not worth the overhyped reviews and comments in here. That's my personal opinion. Jawali Pakoda's is one of the famous shop in the Jalandhar Cantt area. This is one of the old shop also. You get to eat Pakoda's here which is made from dal and other stuff.
