Istafaq is the waiter name , who thinks he isn’t waiter but he is the owner of JPR ( Jagat Punjabi Rasoi), He doesn’t know how to speak with the customers being in Hospitality Industry. I stopped at JPR on dated 23rd FEB 22 for lunch, initially I ordered for a Masala Tea without SUGAR , which he served me in 15 Minutes, when I had a first sip of it I realized that it’s sweet in taste and I called him and informed the same that it’s not without sugar, instead of recognition of problem he started arguing and said that KAUN SA NASHA KARKE AAYA HAI.This statement of him made me annoyed and I paid the bill at the cashier count, where I asked the Lady cashier that tell me the name of Owner, Manager or give me the email I’d of MD, which she and Ishtafaq refused to give and Ishtafaq told lady cashier to call Bhaiya. BHAIYA, After some time Bhaiya (Sardar Ji) came n I asked him are you the manager, he said tell me what happened, I informed him about the whole incidence, he called Istafaq and then Istafaq started arguing with him as well , where I came to know that Bhaiya is also not a Manager even, I asked Bhaiya Ji to provide me the concerned email id’s and phone number which he refused too and said sometimes they make tea in a same pot or in left tea that’s why tea was sweet and just said sorry which seems nothing at that point of time. I never expected and faced this kind of behaviour in hospitality industry. I strongly recommend everyone to NOT TO VISIT this place or else you ll feel insulted and torcher. Read moreI recently dined at JPR Jagat Punjabi Rasoi on Kurali Kharad Road in Mohali and had a pleasant experience. The restaurant offers a wide variety of authentic Punjabi dishes that are both flavorful and satisfying. The tandoori items, in particular, stood out with their rich taste and perfect seasoning.
Pros:
Authentic Punjabi Cuisine: The food is delicious and true to Punjabi flavors. Variety: A good range of dishes to choose from, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Ambiance: The restaurant has a simple yet welcoming atmosphere, making it a comfortable place to dine. Cons:
Service: The service could be improved. The staff seemed a bit slow and inattentive at times. Cleanliness: While the restaurant is generally clean, a bit more attention to detail in maintaining hygiene would enhance the dining experience. Overall, JPR Jagat Punjabi Rasoi is a great spot for enjoying authentic Punjabi food. With some improvements in service and cleanliness, it could become a top choice for food...
Read moreThey are one of the reknowned eateries in town. But my experience with them was shameful for them.
Ordered 34 Rotiya specifically requested the man not to give me flour (MAIDA) mixed roti. Along withit there was 3 daal and 4 kadhai paneer.
Took my order trusting them went home. And I was shocked to learn the rotiya were literally made of (MAIDA). We had our wedding guests waiting to eat. Not a single person ate the roti.
MY SUGESSTION TO THESE PEOPLE IF YOU CANNOT SERVE ROTI MADE OF AATA CLOSE THE DHABA. WE DON'T PAY TO EAT ROTI MADE FROM MAIDA.
PLEASE STOP EATING WITH THEM. I AM SURE IF THEY CAN NOT SERVE AATA THEY MUST BE USING THIRD GRADE VEGGIES AND INGREDIENTS IN THE KITCHEN. I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO EAT OR PLACE ANY ORDERS FROM YOUR...
