We had visited this place on a Sunday, so it was crowded and the service was slow. We had to wait for a long time for everything right from receiving the menu, taking orders and eventually the food. This just shows that the place is indeed a good place to hangout in Sundays. Coming to the food, we had ordered: Sweet corn soup: i have never seen any restaurant serve this soup with so much corn in them, i happen to like corn hence was impressed by the quantity and taste. Boneless Chilli Chicken: the quantity is good for two people, taste was indeed good and the meat was super soft. Dhaba Style Chicken Gravy: We expected a lot from this, but were let down, the gravy was good but almost half the chicken pieces in the gravy was a bit rubbery, hence disappointed. Garlic naan and Tandoori Roti: As usual it was good, i have yet to come across a restaurant which serves bad Naan's or Roti's in Pathankot. The prices are pretty reasonable not too High or low, they also had given a discount as well on the sunday we visited,so overall a good place for lunch...

After a break on outside food for 6 months because of this pandemic. I decided to order a dinner meal for me and my family on last Wednesday ordered chicken tikka butter maSala tara chicken some garlic naans and some lacha paranthas. Since I was eating this delicious preprations after months I was exited to have experience the delicacy of Indian spices, for that I deliberately called the restaurant before ordering and tried to ke it sure that they will provide me the authenticity. But unfortunately masala box runied my evening and my expectations as well chicken tikka butter masala was just kinda jugaard dish as if chefs doesnt even know what gravy has to be used in butter masala, moving further garlic naan was pathetic I want to state that rubber would be easy to cut than that garlic naan as if chef doesnt even know how to make dough for naan or doesnt know on what temperature tandoor should b to roast the bread...in last when it comes to tasty food so masala box for sure is not the place to go or order. The food here is just okay, nothing special. But what really disappointed me was the staff — they were extremely lazy and unbothered. I visited with my family on my mother’s birthday, and although the restaurant was full, they didn’t even make an effort to accommodate us or suggest anything helpful.

When we tried going upstairs, we were suddenly stopped without a proper reason. Strangely, just after us, another family arrived and they were allowed to go upstairs without any issue — that felt really unfair.

Also, we had ordered 3 Dew and 1 Pepsi, but they brought 3 Pepsi and 1 Dew instead. Small mistake, but it just shows the lack of attentiveness. Overall, the staff seemed careless and uninterested, which really ruined the experience. I would say the place is below average in terms of...
