I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fateh’s Cafe in Ranthambore, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The cafe exudes a warm, rustic charm that perfectly complements the wild beauty of Ranthambore, making it an ideal spot to unwind after a safari or a day of exploring.
The ambiance is cozy and inviting, with thoughtful decor that reflects the rich heritage of the region and a subtle nod to the conservation legacy of Mr. Fateh Singh Rathore. It feels like a peaceful retreat, surrounded by nature, yet vibrant with character.
The food is the true highlight here. The menu offers a fantastic mix of traditional Rajasthani dishes and international cuisine, all prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Every dish we tried was flavorful, perfectly spiced, and beautifully presented. The Rajasthani specialties were especially impressive, capturing the authentic taste of the region.
The service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and efficient. The staff went out of their way to ensure we had a memorable dining experience, offering great recommendations and always serving with a smile.

What truly elevates the experience is the hospitality. We were attended to by Girish Arya, an exceptionally smart and seasoned member of the staff. His attentiveness, knowledge of the menu, and calm, professional demeanor made our visit even more memorable. It’s rare to come across such genuine service that feels personal yet impeccably professional.

Dinner was a whole other experience: drinks took ages and we had to wait 40min for dessert. Clearly the kitchen couldn’t cope with a full house. Appetizers and mains were served together, even when specifically requested to wait to prepare the mains. Communication was sometimes an issue as staff didn’t seem to understand requests. Food was extremely spicy, be sure clarify when ordering.
Acoustics of the whole place are terrible: the restaurant is very loud and the wooden chairs make you cringe everytime they’re moved. Don’t expect a peaceful time here. To the owners: we recommend cushioned chair leg plugs and acoustic...
