GREEN VALLEY SARISKA HOTEL AND RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Rajasthan

I have given 2 stars just because of the greenery in the garden and location (just besides the tiger reserve). It’s a new property and it has many loopholes for the price they are charging (Around 5K per day) is exorbitant considering the poor facility and service they are providing. Could not find any decent review and me being a regular traveller will be listing out all the shortcomings one by one: POWER BACKUP- There is no power back up. When the light goes which is very frequent in this area(We found half of time lights were out) even sometimes the lights went off. U can’t even think of Geyser in winters or AC in summers. Even the 5 A charging points are not functioning, you can’t just imagine the plight. NO KETTLE – First hotel I have seen in this price range where there is no kettle for hot water even in winters in this room. POOR LIGHTING – Very poor lighting in the evening. Corridor is very poorly lit and garden is almost fully dark. SMALL ROOM SIZE- Never seen such a small room size for a rom charging 5K in such remote locations. POOR FOOD SERVICE- It took more than a hour to get a Dal ordered in night that too only one family was there besides us in the restaurant. In total they have 6 rooms. Just imagine the speed. They are highly understaffed. NO HOUSEKEEPING IN EVENING & NIGHT- We has booked for 3 days but was late so stayed 2 days. In both days no housekeeping staff came for cleaning of room and bathroom. In one of the evening we called and they told that housekeeping staff has gone home. I was surprised that a hotel does not have a housekeeping staff in the evening. Although they sent a service delivery person do some cleaning. TV NOT WORKING- Tata Sky connected to the TV does not have recharge and we could not watch TV for all 3 days. Even after complaint that was not activated. UN-CLEANINESS- Even the pillow covers were dirty when we entered the room and no change of covers and bed sheet was there without calling them. MISSING BASIC THINGS- Like wiper in the washroom. Rajai since it was winter we demanded ne extra rajai, they were not having the soft rajai, gave some heavy rajai which was dirty smelly and not at all comfortable. There was not even a wall clock in the room. FOOD NOT TASTY- Food taste and quality is not up to the mark for the price they are charging. GEYSER TOO SMALL – I think it was 10 Litres. Never seen such a small geyser in a hotel room. WIFI SPEED- is a nightmare. It takes more than 10 minutes too load a single page with the Wifi. Its a shame. NO FOLDING EXTRA BED -They dont have any folding bed for the extra person in the room which every other hotel have extra bed arrangement and u see they charge Rs.1000 for the mattress on the floor and they dont have a proper rajai for it in winters too. Seems hilarious isnt it.

Durung time of checkout, it was saturday, 27th Jan, 2024 we asked for water bottle and they took 1 hour to provide it. We asked for butter toast for which we have to paid, we got to know the hotel dont have bread for it. We have a 3 years old kid, toast was needed for it. At end we asked them to fry Makhanas for kid the manager in reception refused that kitchen in busy we cant do it. Such kind of nonsense and shamelessness we have never seen in any hotel during our lifetime since we are regular travellers to different destinations not only in India but over the world.

Since, it was only open last year. I hope they look into it and improve it. Else a person will not come here 2nd time or nor they will recommend anyone to come here instead they will narrate the horrible experience they had to everyone. If this hotel does not improve its facilities, service and behavior this hotel might dies before even blossoming. We booked through Agoda, its shameful that travel portals like Agoda are listing such properties without even checking...
