23.09.25 I recently had the pleasure of trying Chole Kulcha at Harish Bakery. Harish Bakery was once a very popular choice for family dinners and farewell parties, approximately seven or eight years ago. Unfortunately, issues with water accumulation and the emergence of nearby establishments like Tirupati, Old Rao, and Haldirams have impacted its patronage. Personally, I tend to choose other restaurants due to the waterlogging problem. Regarding the Chole Kulcha, the Kulcha was soft, and the Chole was delicious, which my wife enjoyed. We also ordered Raj Kachori for takeaway, and we appreciated the packaging, as the curd and chutney were packed separately, which preserved the crispiness until we arrived home. 01.05.22 The service tends to be slow, particularly during weekend evenings. I would advise against ordering the Chinese Platter, as it might not meet expectations. The Dal Makhni and Kadhai Paneer from the main course are quite delicious, and the Butter Naan and Butter Roti are also very good. The only area that could use improvement is the service. I would recommend sticking to Indian food, as the other dishes may not be worth it. Considering the price, it is rather expensive. The restaurant is located on the first floor, and you can purchase sweets, cake, and other bakery items from the ground floor.

I wasted my ₹19 as I bought a pack of milk(Amul- double toned) and when I started boiling this milk, curdling of milk started. I bought this pack at 20:18 and after 5 Minutes it started curdling. One thing I noticed that door of refrigerator was open and may be refrigerator was Off mode that time, Because milk was not cool enough like any other days. Harish Bakery teams , please look into the matters. If you have low quantity of milk packets, it doesn't mean you're going to save electricity and if you doing so, why can't you refuse to give that items to customer. Thank you!

Service is slow. Usually waiting on weekends in evening! Don't order Chinese Platter! You'd regret it, if you did. Main course Dal Makhni, Kadhai Paneer is quite tasty, no complaints for Butter Naan, Butter Roti. The only area of improvement is 'service'. I'd like to suggest, order mainly Indian food, as the other dishes are not at all worth it. Considering the price point: it's ₹₹₹ expensive Restaurant is located on 1st floor, and you can buy Sweets, Cake 🎂, and other bakery stuff from the ground floor itself.

Decent Experience – Mixed Impressions at Harish Bakery

Harish Bakery is a well-known name in the local area, and I recently visited to try out a variety of their products. The location is easy to find, and the bakery has a decent, functional setup. It’s not overly fancy, but it serves the purpose for quick purchases and small gatherings.

The variety is one of their strong points — they offer fresh breads, cakes, pastries, biscuits, and snacks under one roof. The puff patties and veg sandwiches were decent in taste, and the fresh bread loaves were soft and well-baked. The cakes are available in different flavors and sizes, and while the presentation is nice, the taste was average — neither bad nor exceptionally memorable.

Pricing is reasonable for most items, and they do offer some budget-friendly snack options. However, I did notice that some packaged items on display were close to their expiry date, so it’s worth checking before buying.

The service is polite, though not particularly quick during busy hours. Staff members were helpful in explaining product options but could improve on attentiveness. Cleanliness is generally maintained, but the seating area could use more frequent tidying, especially when there’s a rush.

Overall, Harish Bakery is a good option if you are looking for everyday bakery items at fair prices. It’s not a premium experience, but it’s reliable for regular needs. There is room for improvement in product freshness, flavor consistency, and service speed, but for casual visits or quick snack purchases, it’s a decent choice.

Would I recommend it? Yes, for daily bakery needs, but if you’re looking for gourmet taste or premium presentation, you might want to explore...

Staff is a bit on the ruder side and very snobbish. They have a take it or leave it attitude. They took more than half hour to get the food (in peak hour Sunday) served gol gappas and when asked for the green chutney took another 15 mins to get it by the time the gol gappas were soggy and wet lost all crunchiness. The place runs by name but food quality and staff helpfulness has definitely gone down. Another time we ordered dosas and they were more sour than usual no resolution even after informing the staff. If you go there to eat it's best to avoid peak hours. As the staff is slow and tend to get off maybe because of the workload. Another time we ordered rosogullas for home about 20 to 25 of them. Upon opening the plastic box we noticed one of the rosogullas had hair embedded inside it. Goes to say a lot about the hygienic food making conditions of the restaurant/shop. No child seats for kids. Place has ample amount of free parking AC restaurant and decent variety of Indian snack foods. Only wish the staff was more attentive to complaints of its guests. We have had multiple bad...
