We recently visited a restaurant famous for its Dal Bati. The dal bati itself was absolutely delicious – perfectly cooked, rich in flavor, and so satisfying.

What made the experience even more special was the owner’s hospitality. Since we weren’t sure which chutney to pair with what, the owner personally came to our table, helped us mix and match, and even showed us the best way to enjoy the dish. His warmth and eagerness to make sure we had the best experience really stood out.

The taste of the dal bati is good but they do not mention the extra cost for ghee and butter milk and pose as if that is inclusive in the dal-bati thali that they offer.

Without ordering for ghee and butter-milk, we were served that and we thought it to be part of thali but later when the bill came in, over 600 rs was charged for just ghee.

Another guest who were seated besides us complained the same when we headed out of the restaurant.
