Our driver kept talking about this shop for some days - sir, they have a special dish called Kadhi Kachori, Alwar special. So on our way back from Sariska Tiger Reserve Forest we stopped there. Popularity of the shop can be judged by the fact that similar sweet shops located adjacent or near or oppositie side does not have any crowd, nor there are cars parked in front of them. There's an endless stream of people and tables are never empty and parking is a near mess. Since it is on a big 3 way crossing, you can manage to find a parking space nearby. They have both sweet and namkeen (snacks) and all are good and tasty. Kachoris are fresh, hot and crispy so are the sweets like kalakand and milk cake. You end your feast with either lassi or tea served in earthen pot (kulhar). It's very good and moderately priced. Don't miss it if you are...

Kanhaiya Sweets in Kushalgarh is a local favorite renowned for its wide array of traditional Indian sweets and snacks. The shop offers a variety of freshly made sweets, including jalebi, rasgulla, and barfi, all known for their authentic taste and quality ingredients. The snacks, like samosas and kachoris, are also popular for their crispiness and flavorful fillings.

Patrons often commend the shop for its cleanliness and friendly service. The sweets are typically well-priced, making it a great value for money. However, during peak hours, there might be a wait, and the shop’s limited seating can sometimes make it less convenient for dine-in. Overall, Kanhaiya Sweets is highly regarded for its delicious offerings and remains a beloved destination for those craving traditional Indian sweets and snacks...

The place is at the entrance of Sariska Tiger Reserve... There is some construction going on for new road that would lead to Jaipur.... Road from Alwar to the place is good enough.... There are some potholes and speed breakers but it's good as it's a single highway and usually you might end up slowing and lowering down your vehicle due to heavy vehicles. Overall the food is tasty the Famous Kachori are served with Kadi that adds a different flavour to the kachori although some people might not like it coz it's simple and made with lesser oil and masala. The lassi is stunning, it's quite heavy. The aura works best for the location. Overall good place to hangout with family and friends.... P. S. night driving can be dangerous as it's a Jungle and thus lights are limited to...

Kanhaiya Sweets, located near Alwar, is a must-visit for anyone craving traditional Indian snacks and sweets. Their kachori is famous for being one of the best in town, boasting a crispy golden exterior and a spiced filling that is perfectly seasoned—it’s a local favorite that never disappoints. Another standout offering is their milk cake, a delicacy that Kanhaiya Sweets has truly perfected. Its rich, melt-in-your-mouth texture and subtly sweet flavor make it a treat that’s hard to beat anywhere else. The shop itself has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with friendly staff who ensure you have a pleasant experience. If you’re near Alwar and have a craving for authentic Indian flavors, Kanhaiya Sweets is a destination worth adding to your list.

I recently had breakfast at a this restaurant near Sariska, on the Jaipur-Alwar road, famous for its Rajasthani Kadhi Kachori and Alwar's special Kalakand. The Kadhi Kachori was flavorful and perfectly spiced, offering an authentic taste of Rajasthan. The Kalakand, a local specialty, was rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, with traditional decor adding to the charm. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. If you’re traveling in the area, this restaurant is a must-visit for a true taste of regional delicacies.
