This was my second visit, and unfortunately, the story remains the same. I had hoped that the management would have improved their operations since my last experience, but sadly, they haven’t.
I initially requested Old Monk rum, and after wasting 12 minutes, the staff informed me that it was out of stock. Disappointed but still willing to continue, I ordered another brand of rum as the weather was quite cold, and to make matters worse, the heaters were not near my spot. Unfortunately, again after another 5–7 minutes, I was told that the second option was also unavailable.
Despite the frustration, I decided to compromise and opt for a higher-priced brand, requesting a discount for the high priced brands and the inconvenience caused. To my surprise, after wasting an additional 28–30 minutes of my time, my request was outright denied.
It’s not just about the unavailability of items on the menu; it’s about valuing the guest’s time and showing basic courtesy. When customers choose to dine at a place, they trust that their experience will be managed with professionalism and care.
Running out of menu items can happen, but what truly matters is how the situation is handled. Wasting a guest’s time with delays and repeated miscommunication reflects poorly on the establishment’s efficiency
