Towards the end of December we were headed from Jaipur to Ranthambhore and driver decided to stop for a meal. It was cold and we decided to sit outside in the sun for some warmth. The inside is clean and neat.

The menu is limited and we had minimal food as we were not as hungry. There is a gift shop as well. The restaurant and gift shop mostly caters to tourists and I would guess mostly non-Indians.

The vegetable sandwich we requested without butter to make it vegan. The sandwich turned to be too bland as there was very less salt and very little chutney.

The Grilled Cheese and Vegetable Club sandwich turned to be OK as well. Nothing spectacular.

The Vegetable Pakoras turned out to be good. They were freshly fried and were hot (temperature) when they arrived. Crisp outer layer and soft inside. The chutney provided was spicy and minty.

The coffee and teas were...

Tiger Treat, strategically located midway between Jaipur and Ranthambore, offers a pleasant stopover. The establishment boasts a clean and well-maintained setup, including sparkling clean toilets – a notable plus during a long journey. While the menu is basic, the food quality is commendable, justifying the slightly higher prices common at such midways. The quick service and attention to cleanliness make the additional cost worthwhile. A highlight is their flavorful Masala Chai and delectable pakodas – a must-try. Additionally, the gift shop adds a convenient touch for travelers. Overall, Tiger Treat provides a satisfying break on the journey, combining cleanliness, efficient service, and...

Super expensive! Tiny portions 2 small cokes plus 2 chocolate milks and a very small plate of chips ( a third of a normal portion) 1000 rupees. Avoid this Tourist trap. The prices here are more expensive than Australia. The 5 star reviews in here are all from friends of the owner as it do not reflect the reality!
