Order Cancelled Due to Lack of Change
Dear Domino’s Team,
I am writing to express my frustration with a recurring issue I have experienced with your delivery service. On several occasions, your delivery personnel have failed to carry sufficient change for cash payments. This has now happened once again, and this time it led to my order being cancelled — which is completely unacceptable.
Before placing my most recent order, I clearly informed the staff that I only had a ₹500 note and would require change. I was told this would not be a problem. However, when the delivery person arrived, he claimed he didn’t have any change and refused to complete the delivery. As a result, the order was cancelled, and I was left without my food.
This is not the level of service one expects from a well-established brand like Domino’s. Many customers still prefer to pay in cash, and it should be standard practice for delivery staff to carry enough change. We informed the customer care who informed us that there were no such rules and since the food was served we couldn't contact the customer care again due to end of validity of the order. Read morePathetic experience with my Pizza order. Ordered Indi Chicken Tikka Pizza. The topping was full of Ketchup. 2-3 small chicken pieces on each slice. The order was marked delivered even before the delivery was done. I placed the order at 5.56 and I received a call at 6.26 to get the Direction. 30 mins delivery was not done. I was not bothered abou the 5 mins delay. But the quality was poor. After reporting over phone a complaint was registered and was told that I will receive a call within 24 hours. I asked if I can share an image. I was told that was not required.
Restaurant manager called after almost one hour and mentioned as I have already ate the pizza nothing can be done. After the call I received a message saying I was not available to answer the call and was requested to update my phone number.
