Hotel Pacific — Restaurant in Southwestern Gangotri Subsection

The best part about this hotel is its location. View from the rear balcony is mesmerising. We spent hours just sitting there and sipping tea. We went during the off season (monsoons) and we were the only guests there. For the first night we stayed at a Homestay in Harshil village but the view from Harshil is not that great. For open view near the riverside I’d recommend Dharali village and especially hotels or homestays on the river side of the road. Due to off season there were not many staff available but the person there really did his best to make us comfortable. The deluxe rooms are way better than the hotels nearby. Food was basic but freshly cooked. Overall, it is a really good place in the valley. Can’t imagine how crowded it will...

Having visited the area around 7 times. I really loved this place. And not coz they have some thing extraordinary to offer, but they are offering it with a smile and a lot of love. The ower is an ex army chap very helpful and the 2 gentlemen serving the delicious food will put a smile on your face with their service. I would highly recommend this place as it's slightly away from the main market where most lodges / hotels are situated. The views from here are Just stunning and to top it all the food is just brilliant. So on our next trip upto gangotri we will surely stay here...

The hotel location is very good and peaceful place in Dharali. Very near to Harshil. The river is right behind the hotel so u get a view of that. Standard hotel rooms very comfortable bed. The service and hospitality is excellent. Mr Pramod the manager of the hotel takes care of even the smallest of things that you would mention even once. The owner is also very hospitable and helpful.
