The first we visited, we had a lovely treat because the owner was with the staff.
14.05.25 was my birthday and took my son for a treat. The owner was not there. Among the servers was lot of chitchats. They were more engrossed in their talks rather than serving with a grim place. One family sitting before us, their two daughters were loudly shouting, neither the parents controlled them, that was quiet irritating ut on their menu card child control term is mentioned.
There was fluctuations due to electricity dripping.
We ordered two main dishes and after that cheesy margarita pizza we ordered completely disastrous. We placed the order around 8.50pm and beyond 9.20pm didn't receive the dish when asked the servers were looking at us blank the excuse was given that the person who bakes before going home placed it in the oven and left without informing others. There was no crust at the base of pizza. Only tomatoes on the top and cheese. It just tasted as if we are eating naan with cheese toppings. No apology was given when we asked for explanation korean rice with prawns, the outer of the prawns was burnt not good
I would like to tell the owner that this prolongs no one will visit don't leave at the care of servers...
Read moreA cafe with good and pleasant ambience, but a pathetic service and food. Eventhough there was no crowd. The waiter needs to be reminded 3 to 4 times just to get a bottle of water. The water bottle's MRP is 20 rupees, but they charged 25 for it, when i informed them that they cant charge above MRP, the owner tried to manipulate me about it.. ( 5 rupees is not a big money, but 5 rupees for every single bottle they sell is kind of big and cheating the public ), say they have the right to charge us extra for ambience etc.. but they have to add the price in menu and inform to us prior that the water is priced at 25 rupees ( they didnt show the menu or they didnt inform us orally, which is an offense under consumer protection act).
I had a Japanese chicken fried rice and a masala omelet and for a price which is equal to chennai or other metro cities, they can make it better, but it was below averagea and in the fried rice I literally searched for chicken!!!.. they have to improve a lot on their service and food. If the cafe sees this review, try to take it as a constructive criticism and improve rather than taking it...
Read moreThe ambience is very good, matches the cafe vibes of the metro cities, but felt some charm is missing. 🫡
Tried their BBQ chicken pizza, Aardvark special brownie with ice cream and coffee. The ice cream was melted even before reaching our table.🫠 The pizza size was very small - seemed smaller than the usual Regular size. 🧐
⚠️🚨 The prices are exorbitant. The quantity of the dishes are not worth the price and also not worth the hype being created by the so called insta influencers! 🚩
👍🏻 Staffs and service was Okish and can be improved.
🚗 No dedicated parking is available. Have to manage in front of the cafe. Will be challenging in peak hours.
💻 It would be better if it supports work from the cafe (co-working space kind) options. Some of their policies mentioned in the menu card (image attached) might not be suitable for work-from-cafe (table duration, dress code, meetings) as in Chennai/Bangalore.
Overall, a posh place in Tuticorin, can certainly be preferred for a truly luxurious cafe experience, especially without budget...
