Posting my review after 4 visits and now the rating came down from 5 to 2.

Giving 2 rating in hope that management will take a note and do the necessary to bring the standard back to 5 (review will be taken down if issues are addressed)

We enjoyed the first two visit to the restaurant. During the first two visit we got seat on the right side area near to billing section and the service was really good in all means and food was really good.

During the last two visit we got seat only on the left hand side of the restaurant where the kitchen is and those two instances made me rate the restaurant with a 2 star.

Main issue is with service, its hard to get attention of a server, if we get attention also service is very bad and noticed drop in food quality especially with the ghee roast (can't comment on any other dishes as this is the one I noticed drastic difference compared to my first two visits earlier this year)

How hard could it be to train the servers: To make sure they attend to table promptly To provide water right at the beginning or at the least along with the leaf, prior to serving food. To provide a chutney tumbler on each table and get it refilled or replaced after each customer To make sure to note down the order and serve it promptly instead of making customer reminding them of each item again and again separately.

When coming to the issue with food: The first two times when we visited the ghee roast was crisp roasted correctly and served fresh(it was one of the best we ever had anywhere), later the third and 4th time it was rolled too bad that it was soggy throughout and was not at all crisp, a below average/bad ghee roast I would say.

WHAT THEHEEBEE SAYS ABOUT AASAI AASAI ANANDHA BHAVAN DELIGHT

We did a pit stop for breakfast at Aasai Aasai Anandha Bhavan Delight during our trip to Yercaud this month. We had no idea about this place and had no plans to stop here. Out stop her was just by chance as we drove continuously from Bangalore till here and stopped just as we wanted to have a break. But our decision of stopping here turned out to be a great decision.

This place is located just before you hit Salem while travelling from Bangalore and it is easy to spot the place as the vehicles usually get slow as the highway takes a turn here.

There is a decent parking area outside the hotel where sufficient cars can be parked.

The hotel has facilities like: Clean washrooms, dining, buying sweets and snacks, and shopping of hand-made articles.

We stopped here around 10 in the morning and enjoyed the lovely breakfast of Idli, Vada, Dosa and Filter Coffee. All were delicious and refreshing. Loved the Tamiz tradition of serving the snacks with multiple chutneys!! The staff was very helpful and swift at their duties.

They also have a parlor inside the premises where the travelers can buy delicious sweets, snacks, chocolates and toffees.

There are two small shops outside the hotel where they sell wooden toys (like Channapattana Toys) and things like towels, napkins, table mats etc. We bought few toys for the kid and a table tray.

This visit to Aasai Aasai Anandha Bhavan has ensured that they have everything to ease a traveler's travel and this is going to be my pit stop whenever I will pass by this route.
