I recently visited Adyar Ananda Bhavan (A2B) and had an overall okay experience. The place itself is quite appealing—well-maintained and the ambience is pleasant, making it a comfortable spot to enjoy a meal. The decor and seating arrangements are thoughtfully designed, adding to the dining experience.

However, when it comes to the food, the quality was a bit hit or miss. The Masala Dosa was just average. While the dosa was crisp, the masala inside was a little underwhelming in terms of flavor—it could have been spicier and more aromatic. On the other hand, the Ghee Roast was quite good. The dosa was crisp and the ghee added a rich, flavorful touch that stood out.

I also tried the Poori, which was decent, but not exceptional. It had the right texture, though it could have been a bit more flavorful. As for the tea and coffee, they were on the weaker side. A little more consistency in terms of strength and flavor would have made a big difference.

One downside was the pricing. Almost all the items we tried were overpriced compared to other similar restaurants along the same route. Given the quality, the prices didn’t quite justify the experience.

Overall, the experience was just okay. The ambience and service were good, but the food didn’t quite meet expectations, especially for the price. It’s a decent place if you’re looking for a casual meal, but not necessarily a standout...

Please be informed, self visited with family and friends to Adyar Ananda Bhavan at Ariyanur , Post Salem , Pin 636308 : on 17th Jan 2020 at 8 35 am .

The restaurant was not having enough staffs to clean tables or to serve the customers. Self serving by customers was done . Even simple food like idly and poori was delivered in delay by 40 minutes.

Only 40 percent of Restaurant tables were allowed.

When questioned to staff they mentioned all other staffs in Holidays . , and not returned. On top of it , staffs also discussed that their working hours are extensively extended on this day .

I believe staffs were also stressed because of more customers and management have no staffs arrangement plan to serve the customers.

It seems not fair service for what A2B is charging the customers and its integrity.

The above mentioned issue was escalated to hr division mentioned in Contacts of the website.. , but to our surprise no response or even a apology call ..

Gentlemen at the end of the day ., it turns around like some one making the money from customers without basic restaurant service in an unprofessional manner..

Felt like sharing the...

Title: A Gem of a Stop on the Road to Bangalore!

Review: Every trip from Palakkad to Bangalore feels incomplete without a delightful pause at the A2B Adyar Ananda Bhavan located at No.SF/24/1 A1, Part-C, Nallarayampatti Nagapattinam - Coimbatore, Gundlupet Highway, Ariyanur, Tamil Nadu 636308. Having visited various A2B branches over 100 times, I can confidently say that this location stands out with its exceptionally inviting ambiance.

The Dosa here is not just food; it's a piece of art! Perfectly crispy and served piping hot, it's a treat I look forward to during every visit. What adds to the experience is their super clean kitchen - it’s great seeing where your food comes from and knowing it’s handled in pristine conditions.

Moreover, the location couldn't be better. Positioned ideally for travelers heading to Bangalore, it offers a much-needed respite from the long drive, allowing you to recharge with some delicious food in a cool and serene setting.

Highly recommend stopping by A2B Adyar Ananda Bhavan here at Ariyanur – it’s a perfect spot for food lovers looking for quality and cleanliness. Definitely a...

Update on 10/25/2022 - Went in at 11:30am for an early lunch and was out in 20 mins. Female staff is responsive and handle customers better, probably A2B is employing them more here. Updating rating to 3 star. Best is the meals here, standard variety and taste. Edit after my visit on 24/12: Tips are usually given and not taken. Such a pathetic attitude by the staff(or the one I encountered). My bill was 310 and I got 170 in return for a 500Rs note. I walked off leaving nothing more, I could have shown my anger there, but.. Though the south Indian meals was good, the baby corn pepper fry was rotten, topped with too much pepper to hide the facts. Bottom line, if I ever have to visit here, will limit to meals, pay exact change and walk off. You don't get anything by showing cheap attitude to guests travelling through the highway. Older experience: Slow service and usually crowded on weekends
