Started our wonderful trip which we were planning for a long time, visiting MM hills in Karnataka. We left home around 4.30 a.m and it was a very wonderful and fantastic ride.

The climate was so beautiful, cloudy, drizzling, and we enjoyed the drive literally.

Enroute after Thiruputkuzhi, we thought having our breakfast at murugan idli kadai, but they were not open so early in the morning, hence we kept on driving.

Finally reached this hotel. around 6.30 a.m. We were the first customers for the day i believe. Wonderful cold weather, raining now and then, and wow wonderful hot idli and sambar. It was simply fantastic, and we needed that too. Finished it off with a cup of coffee, boy oh boy, it was piping hot and fantastic too. Brought back the needed zip and focus in me to drive again.

On the whole a good breakfast that early in the morning, boosted our energy levels for the drive ahead.

Clean neat hotel, service wise it was fast too. food wise quality and content good.

Bang on the Bangalore highway. Clean, neat are the positive points in this hotel.

But the food and service quality is average.

The negative point is though there is car parking available, but no covered car park or even a shade of the tree, it is...

Before the review I would like to state that my experience with A2B over the years has not been great and this is in various areas in different cities. In fact, I avoid this franchise if possible. But, my review below is without any bias and purely from my experience on that day. The pros first then: Very hygienic and clean, all employees were wearing masks and complied to the safety standards. No over crowding, the service was polite and on time, billing and packaging was done promptly. The ⭐⭐ are just for these criteria. The cons: We started with tea and coffee. Sadly, both were bad. There is a minimum standard to beverages and it was not met. We then had snacks like bonda, vada and again were disappointed with the lack of taste and quality. When one bonda is priced at 20 + GST, one expects a better food quality from the establishment. Not learning from our bad experience, we still got sweets which were frankly over priced and taste wise can be described as just fine - not good but, just fine that's all.

The review is not to discourage people to not visit this franchise. It is still a clean place. It is to inform people that there are other better establishments in this area which provide a better culinary experience and above all a good...

Extremely Disappointing Experience at A2B, Arcot

There were no proper seating arrangements, no AC, and not even basic lighting. The premises were unhygienic.

The food was served cold, lacked proper side dishes, and one item even had an unpleasant smell. The taste overall was poor. The waiter appeared in a hurry, served carelessly, and left abruptly.

Feeling uncomfortable with the food quality, service, and overall atmosphere, we requested to speak to the Manager. Instead of listening to our concerns, the Manager began arguing. When we went to the cash counter to escalate to a Senior Manager, the same person appeared, claiming to be the Manager, Senior Manager, and “everything in A2B, Arcot.” His attitude was arrogant and dismissive.

Despite our dissatisfaction and the fact that we left most items uneaten, we were compelled to pay the full bill by the "UNPROFESSSIONAL MANAGER". We left the restaurant with empty stomachs and a very negative impression.
