It truly breaks my heart to write this because Amour Bakes used to be one of our favorite hangout spots. Two years ago, it was a fantastic place — the snacks, bakery items, cakes, dairy products, ice creams, and coffee were all excellent, and the overall vibe was enjoyable.

But now, everything has changed — and not for the better. The service is extremely poor, and the staff behave in a very unprofessional and careless manner. There is someone assigned as a “Captain,” but sadly, he is completely unfit for the role. He lacks basic knowledge of how to manage service, has a very rude attitude, and doesn't seem to care about customer experience at all.

When I questioned why people who were cleaning the floor and vessels were also serving food, his careless reply was: “This is how it is here—everyone does everything.” That kind of response shows not only a lack of professionalism but also a complete disregard for hygiene and food safety.

What’s worse — and absolutely unacceptable — is that staff are taking bakery products and food items directly from the cooler with their bare hands, without wearing gloves. This is a major health and hygiene concern, especially in a place where food is being served to the public.

It’s so sad to see a once-great place fall into such poor standards. I sincerely hope the management takes this seriously and brings back the quality, cleanliness, and customer respect that Amour Bakes was once known for.
