Annaporna is not just a restaurant, it’s practically an institution in Tiruppur. Step inside and you’ll find yourself swept into a lively dining hall buzzing with locals, travelers, and textile traders all sharing long communal tables. There’s no “private corner for two” here everyone eats together, shoulder to shoulder, which somehow adds to the charm. It’s a reminder that food in India isn’t just nourishment, it’s a social event. The service is fast-paced but friendly, a well-rehearsed dance of servers carrying stainless steel trays stacked high with dosas, thalis, and endless refills of chutneys and sambar. The crowd never really thins, especially during lunch, yet somehow the staff keeps the rhythm going. And then, the dessert section. The crown jewel of Annaporna. From creamy payasam to perfectly soft gulab jamuns swimming in syrup, this is where the restaurant truly earns its fourth star. The variety and freshness of the sweets could put some five-star hotel buffets to shame. If you’re after quiet dining, this isn’t your place. But if you want a true taste of Tiruppur’s heart energetic, communal, and unapologetically flavorful Annaporna delivers every single time.

Zero service, their wonderful managers and service providers don't know how to behave with customers, think like we are the used plates, clearing the tables without any culture and manners. Because they already a reputed restaurant, thinking customers are nothing. Food will be served cold, never had cold soup and cold coffee, taste is ok ok. We asked for decotion to mix with coffee but it came after 15 mins, thats how they care the customers. As a customer we need to set our expectations low as per their manager. Cost also little bit high. Never had such a bad experience in such a reputed restaurant, owner need to look into this. Not recommended. My review going to make any impact or not, but if atleast one customer rethink of their visit to this restaurant then it's a great help to them.

One of their 1st outlet away from Coimbatore. The food quality is good as usual and nothing to compare with it. The ambience is also good so spacious.. But but but... THEIR SERVICE IS ALSO MAINTAINED THE SAME WAY (POOR) AS IN COIMBATORE. YES, IF 4 ARE SITTING IN THE TABLE THEY DON'T HAVE THE PATIENCE AND DON'T CARE to serve dishes individually, just dump it and go. This is the reason I never step in to any outlet in Coimbatore and thought they would have changed but NO it's same. So if you don't mind about the service you can step in.

Had a breakfast with my family at this restaurant in Avinashi Road Chennai Highway. The food was delicious 😋 and of great quality. We had Onion dosa, Pongal vada, Poori , Ghee Roast and coffee ☕. The compliment chutneys were so good and made us to buy extra dishes 😊 The waiter took the orders swiftly as soon as we took our seats and the service was prompt and courteous. Both the waiter and server were proactive and courteous in serving us with extra sambars, chutneys or spoons required and I was quite impressed with their service. The prices were in the same range of other highway restaurants of same class. The rest rooms were so hygienic and neatly maintained. We also bought some sweets and it was of good taste too. The car parking 🅿️ is plenty so you can park your car peacefully with no rush. BTW Just a quick note here, When we reached the restaurant around 8 o'clock in the Saturday morning, it was bit crowded and many were waiting for tables, though they had service on both ground and first floors and most of them were travellers returning back to Chennai after Pooja holidays just like us. Eventually they provided us a table on the first floor and to our surprise there were a lot of tables available, but they didn't allow us to sit there, may be because of shortage of waiters or preparation of food. So if the restaurant is fully occupied and if you are running short of time, then better you look for another place. Other than this, The restaurant lives up to it's name and it could be our goto restaurant next time when we return back to Chennai after Holidays....

I went with my pregnant wife here on 10-08-2025 for breakfast at 9 35 am, I found the place to be a little bit crowded so I went to the first floor dining hall. I noticed that were no usherers like in the ground floor so we tried to sit on a table near the entrance and were rudely told to not to sit there and ordered to go and sit somewhere else, and when we tried to sit on a table at the left corner side of the corridor, a waiter again told us to sit somewhere else as service was finished and that we should go someplace else. I promptly asked the manager to see to it that we were placed in a table where service was given without making us wait needlessly and ordered to move around like we were given a free food. We were seated subsequently and the food was good and we are and left the restaurant. But after leaving the restaurant, I came to know from my wife that the Manager cursed-" Aalu illa Mayiru illa nu" -directed at whom I leave it to the reader's imagination. So I would like to ask that the Management of the restaurant, please either post usherers so that customers may be seated without getting rudely shooed away from waiters each time we try to seat ourselves or atleast inform us at the gate itself that there are no table left or the service is over upon entering your premises. Also please make sure your staff doesn't use abusive language either towards us customers or your own...

Really I disappointed yesterday(29th Dec 2023) when I visit this hotel and had a very bad experience. I didn't faced like this before at any hotel. Actually we went at 10.20pm with my kids (Below 5 years) and they are hungry. Waiter asking the order in hurry burry without explaining the available food and menu. He didn't give such time to discuss with my kids and his motivation wants to close the order. Really his attitude and responses are very worst.. he's murmuring like that this is the closing time.. Just I asked with him, about the closing time but he didn't reply properly and saying that after 10.30pm, they will not take any order.. because kitchen will be closed.. In this case, why the management is not mentioned their closing time in front of gate and why u are allowing us to enter at closing time, if ur peoples are not ready to service the orders. Really I disappointed, because we specifically wants to have a dinner here and came from Coimbatore after 45 mins travel because of my kids willingness. We have many hotels on the way from Coimbatore to Tiruppur. I complained this matter with the supervisor.. I know the waiter name but am not mentioning here.. hope they will understand it, pls mention the closing time and handle the customers properly and gently. Because we are paying high cost for the food and expecting...
