My family chose to dine at this restaurant after seeing decent reviews for their seafood. Upon arriving at the restaurant, I was sceptical if they would be any good seeing the hygiene and conditions the time we entered.

Seemed like not many customers dined there as the place was empty even at an otherwise peak dinner time. The only reason we took the risk of eating here was that there weren't many other options closeby to our hotel. Also because our driver who was a local assured us that everything will be alright.

I got myself a veg thali, which looked safe enough to eat. However, I wouldn't say it was the best choice, everything was cold turkey, except the sambar.

Others on the table got fish thalis and ordered what the staff boasted to be "fresh catches of the day". It was shocking that they served stale fishes as the meat had turned slimy and mushy.

God forbid if my family consumed that seafood that night they would have been at the risk of food poisoning in the middle of our holidays! I was horrified that the staff thought they'd get away with serving bad food in the name of making profits!

Under no circumstances would I recommend anyone to visit this restaurant especially for non-vegetarian because health and food safety must be any restaurant's first priority and here clearly non...

One of my recent favourite sea food restaurant

Worth for money and cool staffs with compact and great ambience

We have tasted some of their fish varities and mixed non veg Briyani

I personally loved the fresh fish where the masala prepared freshly and cook on spot

It’s completely tawa fry concept so the fish smoky flavour was tastes so good and I just loved it

Each fish has its own flavour

Prawns were so fresh and tastes so good and damn I just fallen love with their prawns too

They are serving all types of sea food varieties such like fish, crab, squid, prawns etc.,

They serve everyday special fishes which available on market

Surely a must try recipe is their mixed non veg Briyani which comes with chicken, prawns and squid all together fusion with chicken Briyani rice and tossed with some special masala

The taste was so unique and for the first time I have tried it, personally I just loved it and lil 🔥

Parotta kurma too was good, special mention for their fish kulambu adadaaa so good

A must try spot in Rameshwaram and for sea...

APS Sea Food Restaurant, Rameshwaram – Overhyped and Underwhelming**

We visited APS Seafood Restaurant after reading glowing reviews on Google, hoping for a memorable seafood experience. Unfortunately, it turned out to be quite the opposite.

The place was almost empty when we arrived, which was our first red flag. The ambience felt more like a roadside joint, with basic tables and chairs. Their menu offered only veg and non-veg meals, with a tray displaying a small selection of fish, prawns, and crabs. The seafood was overpriced — fish priced at ₹500 and crabs at ₹380 — and the quantity was disappointing.

We opted for the non-veg meals. While the fish curry was decent, the rest of the meal, including sambar and rasam, was bland and forgettable. The fried fish served with the meal was cold and tasted like leftovers. We also ordered fried fish separately, but it lacked both flavor and seasoning.

Overall, it was a disappointing experience and certainly not worth the hype. Wouldn’t recommend unless there are no other...
