Absolutely Terrible Experience at Cafe Coffee Day - JIPMER

This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at any Cafe Coffee Day outlet. I ordered a Signature Coffee, a takeaway brownie, and a water bottle made from plants. When it was time to pay, I was shocked to be told that the only accepted payment method was through the CCD app.

They refused to accept UPI payments, which is one of the most basic and widely used payment methods in India. Forcing customers to download an app just to pay is ridiculous, outdated, and outright disrespectful of people’s time and convenience.

This level of customer service is pathetic, and it reflects poorly on the brand. Why should I, as a paying customer, jump through unnecessary hoops to give you my money?

Cafe Coffee Day, get your act together and stop alienating your customers with such backward policies. I’m extremely disappointed and will think twice before visiting any CCD...

The last time I went there, the air-conditioning had totally failed. And, as it usually happens, when people build restaurants with no natural cross ventilation and rely almost completely on dozens of split air conditioners, when the latter stop working, it becomes hell. The fans add to the heat. Did I mention the echo chamber effect of incessant noise adding to the misery? As if it is the traditional thing to do in an 'ICH", there is no menu to offer but the waiter would rattle off stuff they have. I just ordered two cups of tea. Could not finish it because it was so bad - milky, boiled and concentrated in some can for many hours perhaps. I was happy to get...

It's a classy & perfect place for business meeting & some couple number of people get together who need a good time to spend and chat without any noise or disturbance.

The food quality is good. Fresh made

I was inspired by the capacheno, but really not after tasting it.

It's in highway very near to kfc and Pondicherry. Upi available for payment. It's the one and only CCD in pondicherry. Also we don't have Starbucks 😺 here so people who need to have good time don't waste time searching any and can get a good time here.
