A coming of age place in nellai and I'm sure many more to follow. The cafe is far away from the city and its commotions. And this is not for the typical nellai family outings. Its so far and isolated that only people with vehicle can only access this. Things aside the management is very much clear about their target audience, the happening youth and affulent families who loves long drive and food along with it. This is a lovely addition to nellai food scene. Their menu is extensive, well thought and truly global. They have put in a lot of efforts curtailing the menu and it's very evident. The pricing is very much justified for the quantity and quality they provide. IMHO it's very smartly priced.👏 Their sloppy beef burger (was told they make their own patty) and chilli beef were absolute delights for beef lovers ( yes, nellai is a dry place for beef lovers😐) Orange spiced wings were tangy yet spicy. Cantonese noodles - mild and subtle with full of flavours. The only downside is the serving time. Their service team is courteous but sloppy. Can't understand if it's the kitchen which takes more time. They fail even with 50% occupancy. Hope the service team and the kitchen communicate and deliver the best to patrons. To conclude, this is a welcome addition to nellai food scene. A great place to have a relaxed family outing or to catch up with friends and chat over...
Read moreDO NOT GO FOR THE FOOD. I made the mistake of going for the menu, they had really interesting dishes on their menu. But none of them were even close to what it's supposed. Orange chicken wings is just chicken wings in normal Schezwan sauce. Sloppy Joe is just a lot of mayonnaise. And the worst of all is their "granitas" it wasn't even close... It was served in a long glass and was more a margarita... A bad one. The service was under par. We ordered before being seated and they took ages to bring the starters. Simple concept, starters/appetizers are the first dish to come to the table after soup, is it that hard to understand? They served the starters as we ordered the desserts. Below average service experience. Ambience is really good but the closed space is very noisy even with a small crowd. Tables are too small, not enough space for plates especially if you're planning to go with more than 4 people. The have a bike and ATV track as an attraction. Mainly themed on bikes and racing I guess... The obvsly fake theme on racing and bikes were even more evident when they were blasting English and Tamil pop songs. Instead, I would suggest to stream races at least during the weekends if you really want it to be a motor-themed cafe... Overall, it seems like a really good place to hangout with friends as long as you don't mind sub-par...
Read moreWe had the pleasure of stopping by Cafe Panama during our travel, and we were pleasantly surprised by how wonderful the experience was! The cafe is conveniently located just off the highway, and we arrived during the opening time, so we weren't sure what to expect. However, from the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel very welcome and were incredibly polite and attentive.
The food was absolutely delicious! We tried their signature chicken crispers, and they were amazing—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. To finish off our meal, we decided to try the summer special chatti soda, which was a first for us. It was refreshing and the perfect complement to our lunch.
Overall, we couldn’t have been happier with our visit. The food, the service, and the ambiance all exceeded our expectations. Definitely a five-star experience, and we’ll be coming back next time we’re in the area!...
