Extremely Disappointed with the Experience
I recently ordered two bun parottas through Swiggy, each priced at ₹110. I assumed (like with normal parottas) that one portion would include a set of two pieces. However, I received just one piece per portion. There was no clear mention on the app that a single piece of bun parotta costs ₹110, which is quite misleading.
When I contacted the restaurant, the initial response was denial — they claimed there was no such order. After sharing my order number and screenshots via WhatsApp, they suddenly changed their stance, saying it was bun parotta and not normal parotta, as if that justified the poor value. First, they deny it, then they claim to have confirmed it from the kitchen in under 2 minutes. This inconsistency made me feel dismissed and disrespected as a customer.
Despite being stuck in traffic during heavy rain, I ordered from this restaurant thinking I’d get decent, hygienic food from a place I usually trust. But the experience was the opposite.
To add to the frustration, I placed another order for a shawarma and a normal parotta set. Again, I received the same dicto piece bun parotta with just a tiny mayo cup filled with salna — barely enough for one bite, let alone a full parotta of 2.

We ordered nethili fish fry as starter’s and my husband ordered egg veechu parotta and I ordered chicken kothu parotta and nool parotta one set. Fish fry coating was not fully fried we found dough coating was raw in some areas in 2 pieces of fish fry. My husband had half of his egg veechu parotta and he found hair in it we complained to authorities there and server too. Then I was having my chicken kothu parotta, for that they gave raitha and gravy in 2 small sized buckets and then I found fly🪰 in raitha. It really felt disgusting 🤢 to eat their food. We called the person who served us and also a person kinda supervisor and showed my plate with a 🪰 fly in it, as you can see in the marked picture I have attached by.They politely asked for replacement by another food or we’ll cut off the amount in bill. We stopped eating our food and payed the bill amount and asked to put bill amount for the items we ordered. They halfed the bill amount, we paid. Later I had stomach upset next day and it was severe and painful and my husband also faced same issue. Read moreI have been to this restaurant more than couple of times. But the last experience is pathetic.
I've been with my entire family including my kids for dinner because I had good experience before. We ordered grilled chicken, biriyani, naan and gravies.
The starters came early and we had all. We are awaiting for main course which took More than half an hour for egg biriyani n gravies.
When I enquired to the waiter he told it takes time to boil the eggs. I wondered and while start serving the given biriyani I noticed there are plenty of oil and one of my kid has taste's the food n told it's not good.
While checking other cup the same kind of oil and it looks pathetic. So I got tensed n complaint the supervisor about the quality they remain silent and take back the given biriyani's.
I definitely know that the food is not a fresh one. I was shocked because I believed Cockrako will not do this kind of activities and loose their reputation. But I'm sorry guys. Check your food before eat.
Finally they are not added this biriyani's in the bill. But I'm worried about the health of my kids not the money.
