Courtallam Border Rahmath Kadai — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Been there with my friend last week, we ordered a chicken ghee rice and chicken biriyani. My friend couldn’t complete his biriyani so he has asked for the rest of the biriyani to be packed so that he can have at his room. The waiter packed the rest of the biriyani and gave it to him. Later that night my friend called and informed me that there was no chicken in his biriyani but found extra rice in place of chicken piece. I do remember that he did not have his chicken which was given to him along with the biriyani as we had chilli prawns. So if that is a mistake from the waiter, it is fine, mistakes do happen but if that was voluntary, then please remember that the other customer would have had the chicken piece from somebody else’s dining, which would be creepy. Please do not repeat this mistake, either way the food is tastier but this is the last time I’m having food...

Unhygienic Practice – Needs Immediate Attention

Visited Courtallam Border Parotta Shop located at L&T Bypass, Coimbatore on 2nd July 2025 around 12:30 PM. Shockingly, I witnessed the same kettle being used to serve hot water to customers and also being taken into the men's restroom for toilet cleaning purposes. This was done right in front of me.

I ordered food through Zomato from this shop. I ordered parota, idiyappam and plain biryani. The quality is good. The parota was so crispy and yummy. Idiyappam was so soft and spongy.
