High Grown — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

It's a small restaurant in Kotagiri town, welcoming and pleasant staff.

Plus points - Good tasty piping hot food (tomato soup is really good, it was cold outside and thus enjoyed it more) Food is prepared and presented well Convenient location Place is clean and hygienic Recommend the cheesy pasta too Have some interesting sizzlers on the menu too Different (American, Italian) options which may interest a young crowd

Minus points Extremely small place, at a time maybe 17-18 (definitely not more than 20) people can eat in. If it is fully occupied, one can feel cramped and the place becomes congested If there are more people order can take time. We ordered the Veg Shashlik late, had to wait for almost 35-40 mts (even though they said it would take 20-25 mts). So order everything in one go. No toilet in the restaurant. They have one in the ground floor (2 floors below), keys are provided if asked. No proper ventilation for the kitchen requires them to keep the front door/window open. We were pleasantly surprised coming to Kotagiri and finding such a marvelous place to eat.

The decor and ambience is cozy.

The food is really good! I ordered a sphagetti arabiatta and it was one of the best I've ever had, the omlette was lovely ,and I loved the hot chocolate too. The only item I did not like was the Darmona dust tea, but that might just be my taste.

The service was a bit lacking, which is why i rated this 4 stars instead of 5. One of the waiters seemed very dumbfounded when we asked for bread with the eggs. And also on the menu it mentioned the pasta would be served with garlic bread. But they served it 15 mins after they served the pasta.

Service needs to improve a bit, but thats the only remark I have. Otherwise, I would DEFINITELY reccomend visiting...

Really good cafe serving fresh and tasty food.. Had Omlette, Veg sandwich, Veg Burger etc.. Their Creamy Veg Soup is one of the best ever..!! Sandwich was fresh.. Burger patty was really good.. they are serving a good portion of potato wedges with whatever we ordered.. so we couldn't finish the good food they served..!! Service was good.. we thought we would have to eat something after this from Mettupalayam.. but portions were very generous and filling (us being not that of heavy eaters).. Good behaviour of staffs..

Only thing is that, their said toilet is too far away and down the building they are in, and it was raining really heavy, so we couldn't even walk upto there and use it.. had to stop @ HP petrol station nearby..
