Everything was worst never come to this place The staff here are rude and harsh They don’t even have a menu card they’re rice is worse don’t come here this place is Trash 🗑️ . Where do I even begin? This place was an absolute disaster from start to finish. The service was so slow, I thought they were cooking everything from scratch in real-time. I waited 20 minutes just for a glass of water, which was lukewarm and tasted like it had been filtered through a dirty sock.

The food? Awful. I ordered the pasta, and it arrived looking like something you'd find in a college student's microwave at 3 AM. The noodles were overcooked, the sauce was bland, and there was a strange, rubbery texture to whatever that was supposed to be chicken. My friend's salad came with wilting lettuce, and they somehow managed to make a slice of tomato taste like cardboard.

The atmosphere was no better. The lighting was so harsh it felt like they were trying to interrogate you. The music was a strange mix of 90s elevator tunes, and the whole place smelled like an old mop bucket. Oh, and don't even get me started on the bathroom—it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months, with a broken sink and a door that wouldn’t close.

I wouldn’t even feed this food to my worst enemy. Save your time, your money, and your taste buds, and do yourself a favor by going anywhere else. Ah, the staff—where do I even start? They were utterly clueless and seemed completely uninterested in doing their jobs. The waiter who greeted us looked like he had just rolled out of bed, wearing a wrinkled shirt and a scowl. He barely acknowledged us, threw the menus on the table, and then disappeared for what felt like hours. When he finally returned to take our order, he couldn’t even remember the specials, and when I asked for a wine recommendation, he just shrugged and mumbled, “I dunno, whatever.”

Throughout the meal, it felt like we were invisible. No one checked on us, and when we needed anything—extra napkins, refills, even a fork that wasn’t bent—someone would wander by and act like we were bothering them. I even caught one of the staff members standing in the corner, scrolling through their phone while we sat there, clearly waiting for help.

The manager, who I’m assuming was the guy in the ill-fitting suit who was too busy yelling at the kitchen staff to pay attention to the customers, looked like they had better things to do than, well, manage. The disorganized chaos that unfolded in front of us was more entertaining than anything on the menu. And when it came time to pay, the same guy who had ignored us all night suddenly showed up with a half-hearted "Enjoy the rest of your evening," as if we’d somehow been blessed by the experience.

It’s clear that this place isn’t just a kitchen fire waiting to happen—it’s a staffing catastrophe. They couldn’t care less about service,...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hotel Ananda Bavan, a pure vegetarian hotel located on Chengalpattu Bypass, and I must say it was a fantastic experience. This establishment is truly a great place to enjoy a meal.

First and foremost, the food at Hotel Ananda Bavan is absolutely delicious. They offer a wide variety of vegetarian dishes that cater to different tastes and preferences. From traditional South Indian delicacies to North Indian favorites, their menu is diverse and satisfying. The quality of ingredients used is commendable, and the flavors are authentic and appetizing.

The ambiance of the restaurant is pleasant and inviting. The seating arrangement is comfortable, and the restaurant maintains a clean and well-maintained environment. Whether you're dining alone, with family, or with friends, the atmosphere at Hotel Ananda Bavan provides a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience.

The service at this hotel is top-notch. The staff is courteous, attentive, and prompt in catering to customers' needs. They are knowledgeable about the menu and offer helpful suggestions to ensure a delightful dining experience. The wait times for food are reasonable, and the staff ensures that guests are well taken care of throughout their visit.

In terms of location, Hotel Ananda Bavan's placement on Chengalpattu Bypass makes it easily accessible. Whether you're a local resident or a traveler passing through the area, it's a convenient spot to enjoy a satisfying vegetarian meal.

The pricing at Hotel Ananda Bavan is reasonable, offering value for money. Considering the quality and taste of the food, the portion sizes, and the overall dining experience, the prices are affordable and justified.

My family and I recently stopped by this vegetarian hotel for breakfast, hoping for a satisfying dining experience. We ordered pongal and idli, and I must admit that the flavors were quite enjoyable. However, our positive impression was marred by the lack of cleanliness in the plates that were served to us. It was disappointing to observe visible stains from previous use. This oversight in maintaining proper hygiene greatly affected our overall enjoyment of the meal. Moreover, the service we received fell short of our expectations. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive throughout our visit. We experienced delays in having our order taken, and our requests were not promptly addressed. I definitely won't recommend this place and I'll never try again.

Had worst experience in this place, got into this by seeing the structure, parking space and brand name.We waited for nearly half hour to get our order placed, the food delivered was also tasteless and less cooked. The waiters were also rude, some other customer was shouting at the waiter for his rude behaviour. Most of the customers went out after waiting for soo long.Everyone is getting trapped because of the look from outside and brandname. This has nothing to do with the original Ananda Bhavan I guess. If you can wait for soo long and can spend 1 hour nearly for breakfast then this is your place.

A good option for breakfast just before Chenglepet. Sufficient parking. Tasty South Indian breakfast. Hygiene could be improved especially for the food servers whose clothes were spattered with food. I was also told that there was no mini tiffin but then saw it served to another table. When I questioned them they said that they said no because it would take time 🤔. Service was quick but customer handling needs improvement!
