Hotel Anandhas — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

I reached here when Chennai Bangalore 11:45AM Jabbar Travels bus halted for lunch.

Here's my experience

Food quality / Taste

Food quality was great, I had 2 plates of Chapati and the taste was wonderful. I'd visit this place anyday for the food.

Timing

The bus staffs informed a 20 mins halt time, so when I ordered the food it was delivered to me within the next 5 mins Max. The people who served the food were extremely fast.

Cleanliness

I used the washrooms and Thanks to them they maintained it really clean. Thanks to the Hotel management for maintaining a clean environment.

Staff behaviour

Everybody in the bus ordered food and we could only wait for a time frame of 15 to 20 mins. The staffs were super fast and expressed a professional behaviour by being calm and served the food in a professional manner.

Thanks to every staff who is working there in a very very fast environment as they're expected to serve the food on time else it could delay the busses waiting outside.

Pricing

The pricing of the food is just right like A2B but they maintain the taste and quality so the price was great when I had my food there.

As a whole I loved the environment there and they made sure to create a good experience for people visiting for food. I'd visit this place anyday. Thanks to Hotel Anandhas.

Hotel is okish.. Food served was not really hot.. Not sure when it was cooked and if it was reheated upon the sight of bus getting parked.. Had parotta which costed Rs 74.. Really high for this kind of restaurants.. They purely rely on bus travellers, as drivers can get free meal and additionally some money.. I saw KMRL kalaimakal driver getting paid by one of the hotel server.. Surprising part was the server added his tip to the bill amount and demanded it.. Its okay to leave a tip at the end of service but demanding the same is not appreciated.. If you are on this route for Bengaluru or Hosur, avoid this restaurant and have your food elsewhere were quality & respect would be maintained.. High time TN govt Good Safety department conducts series of surprise raids on highway eatries as they are...

May be it looks a above grade restaurant, (VEG) and offers decent varieties of Vegeterian dishes including Dosa's, Fried Rices, Idly, Channa Batura, Parota and other few items... Including some snacks corner and a small handcrafted gift shop and a coffee shop inhouse... They are located on the hotspot of Vellore byepass which is very much recognisable & accessible when you pass by... Good ambience.too... ok to have a nice visit. Few Cons : They should revise their serving plates and vessels as it degrades time to time, They can improve the service far better than its now, which is quite unpleasant, They should consider increasing the menu's as it's very limited....
