Hotel Grandview was one of the best dining and stay experiences on our trip. The food was excellent—we had a combo of chapathi, parota, biryani rice, gravy (unlimited), and one alfam per head. Everything was well-prepared, tasty, and served hot, perfect for large groups. The place has an aesthetic vibe, both inside the café and the main dining lounge. There’s a lot of space, with three different dining zones that suit all kinds of gatherings. Whether it’s a casual group meal or a more private setting, they’ve planned the layout well. The lighting, ambience, and setup give off a premium yet homely feel. They also offer a DJ setup and firecamp option, which makes it ideal for evening gatherings. I recently visited this hotel with my group, and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The buffet was extremely disappointing – very few items, definitely not worth the rate they charge.
The customer service was appalling. From the moment we entered, the staff (especially one man in charge) treated us as if we were a nuisance instead of guests. While settling the bill, they accused us of bringing in extra 2 people who hadn’t paid, which was completely untrue. We were a total of 23, and one person had chosen not to eat. Even after I politely explained and cleared the misunderstanding, the staff member cursed at me and went as far as to call me a “pathological liar.”
