Hotel Sri Sai Amuthaas (veg) — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Our group recently visited Hotel Sri Sai Amuthaas near Thudiyalur, Coimbatore, and here’s what we thought about the experience:

Pros: Wide Variety of Vegetarian Dishes: The restaurant offers a good selection of both South Indian and North Indian vegetarian dishes, catering to various tastes.

Plenty of Parking: We were pleased to find ample parking space, making it easy for our group to park without any trouble.

Convenient Location: The restaurant is easily accessible, located just about 2 km after the Thudiyalur signal on the Coimbatore-Mettupalayam road, making it ideal for those traveling toward Ooty.

Cons: Inconsistent Food Quality: Some dishes didn’t meet our expectations, as the flavors weren’t consistent, and the freshness of ingredients seemed to vary.

Slow Service: We experienced delays in getting our orders, which made the overall dining experience a bit frustrating.

Ambiance Issues: The cleanliness and upkeep of the restaurant seemed lacking, with some areas needing more attention.

Pricing: A few of us felt that the prices were on the higher side considering the quality and portion sizes...

Today (Dec 22, 2021), I would like share my experience with the Hotel Sri Sai Amuthaas. For past three days (Mon-20, Tue-21, Wed-22) we are ordering two sets (1 set -2 pieces x 2 = 4 pieces) of Idly and one piece of Vada in Swiggy. 1st order was on Mon, we got one set of Idly (2 pieces) and Vada with Kesari sweet. We thought by ourself without calling the hotel or swiggy, due to shortage Idly they might have kept the sweet. 2nd order was on Tue we called Swiggy delivery person to check whether the ordered items are all available because we couldn't reach the hotel or swiggy on 1st day experience. 2nd day no issue that we checked before. 3rd order today, same only 1 Vada & 2 pieces of Idly and no sweet also. My husband trying for Swiggy and I'm trying to reach the hotel, from the hotel side they said if we order in Swiggy it will go NGGO colony, but for NGGO there is no separate details in Google. He didn't give the number. Later after trying I got 1 number from the different site but they are not picking up. For online order it seems like they are cheating. So please be aware of...

We went there for lunch and asked for A/C dining they said A/c will open only after 7.30 PM (no a/c in day but in night😕) So we sat at the normal dining and waited for almost 10 mins so many workers are walking but nobody is taking orders Atlast we called one person and he redirected to someone else And we ordered our food food arrived quickly and it tasted good But suddenly the fan stopped and the heat from the kitchen was direct to us we asked to turn on generator if it is there the waiter person said we will wait for 10 minutes if current is not back till then we will turn on generator by the time we will leave so we were drustrated and we ordered eleneer payasam which was mentioned by themselves in the menu board we went at 12.30-1 and the guy said it is not available

The problem with this hotel is No concern about customer comfortness Preparing tasty food /quality food is not the only thing a hotel should care about
