We had a disappointing experience with Hungry Bird Cafe. Traveling back from Mahabalipuram to Bangalore, we decided to stop here based on the ratings. Our group consisted of two families (4 members each). Unfortunately, the service was far from satisfactory. The waiter struggled to understand our order and couldn't clearly explain what was included in the meals. It took them over an hour and a half to serve 8 burgers, fries, and crispies. The food is good especially the fried chicken and the mango Masti mojito, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. The owner of the restaurant treated us well when he took the order but the service left a lot to be desired. The waiting time was very long since only two people were working in the shop. The waiter needs to be more respectful and attentive to customers. He just puts the tray on the table not bothering to even serve the plate to my mother. No one bothered to serve water or give napkins. They need to solve this problem if they want to increase customer...

We went for a birthday party on the first floor of the restaurant. It suits small parties and can accommodate up to 40 participants as mentioned by them. The wash area and restrooms available separately are a good idea.

Good ambience and easily accessible about less than a kilometre from the walaja road entrance at the Vellore bypass. Roadside parking available.
