Kamaliya Garden Restaurant — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

We had been to Virudhunagar for an Interview and found this place from Google, we decided to have lunch here,

You need to take the service road to reach this place, the entrance was small and we didn't expect what we were to witness

They have a beautiful garden restaurant one can imagine at Virudhunagar, in fact one the best I have visited in Tamilnadu,

You get to experience having food in a bamboo hut which can accommodate 5 to 6 members easily, even if you you are a couple you will have one since they have more than 10 to 15 bamboo huts, apart from this they have AC dining and a typical restaurant style bamboo furnished dining as well, everything from the garden to the waiters were neat,

Coming to the food, it was as good as their ambience, we ordered soup, Chicken biryani, Kulcha, Naan, chicken 65, chicken tikka, Mushroom Masala, paneer manchurian and falooda,

Everything that we ordered were tasty, chicken biryani was made from Basmati rice and was the best we had in Madurai and Virudhunagar surrounding, Chicken 65, chicken tikka, all the gravies we ordered were exceptional, falooda too was very tasty.

Apart from the ambience, taste and the location it was reasonably priced as well certainly inexpensive considered the taste and the ambience,

We would certainly visit this place once more if we get a chance to be there. They have a spacious car parking as well.

Review on 31st March 2022: Taken orders and serving late. If somebody cancels the order server suggesting or repeating the same dish to us to try for it. We are the victim and had chicken lollipop which is not good taste. Panner butter masala was too sweet when we compliant no response at all. Giving one star. Never gonna go there hereafter.

New review 28th march 2022: Went yesterday had mushroom soup which was very salty and informed server, and they taken back and brought the same which was disgusting. But we were told that soup was changed but not. Finally tried pomegranate juice plain which was very plain that means they made it from two pomegranate and served as 5 juice ots completely cheating the customers. I never expected these kind of serving quality from this restaurant.

Horrible service by the waiters. They run around appearing busy, forgetting orders and just disappear when you want to remind them. Three of them flock around on one table making friends with young lady customers which probably is their only interest while others give up waiting for them to turn up at your table. A simple order for a juice takes 30 minutes to come. They are not even sorry when you point out that they have forgotten your orders. They are the most unprofessional and useless waiters in this part of the country.

As for the management, it does not look like they manage anything except apologies to irate customers. Totally inefficient and incompetent.

Basic decency and courtesy is missing. The man at the billing counter was joking with the waiter when I went up to complain. It looks like it is normal to be useless, inefficient and unprofessional as long as the customer is paying. There is no sense of...
