It was a weekend with a friend's family visitng. Everyone was hungry after a short picnic and based on our previous good experience, decided to hit Kick Grass for lunch. Parking was available and though crowded we were able to find a place for all of us (which is nice in a small town - you don't easily get big table for 2 families to sit down - here they are available in plenty). Right at the entrance they have a board on their practices - to name a few - no ajinomoto, dalda, fresh ingredients used so you can be assured. The attendant told us the kitchen staff are only few in number and wait time may be more. We modified our order to mostly what is available readily or what can be made easily ( Briyanis and Fried Rice). Food was really good, Rates are not increased a lot which are good but this is what was not good - 1. The order taking gadget was available with only 2 people. A 3rd person without gadget will come take the order (I guess to reassure we weren't forgotten) only for another person with gadget to come in 5 mins and take the order again 2. We gave them sufficient time to make the food but when the food started coming, we had to repeat the order again as many of what we ordered were totally missed.
Now they say starting a venture is easy but scalining and sustaining is not. You guys saw through the difficult COVID times and the fortunes are turning now. Please do revisit your weekend staffing strategy and am sure you will be shining star as the taste and rates are very attractive to pull people to your place.
Response to the owner: thank you so much and happy to see you taking the feedback as an opportunity. I missed mentioning your quality board placed at the entrance - I have added it to my comments now. I did not click a pic of it unfortunately and could not find in pics available. If you can please post it would be a nice attraction to your place. My daughter loves your place more than us so we will be back as soon as in town. Wishing all the...

Read moreThis is a food Oasis! Scenic location, pleasant interiors and relaxing environment. Food at its best. The showstopper is their Pizzas - Thin crust pizzas baked to perfection. You can customize your own pizza. My favourite is Veg Supreme Pizza loaded with an all-imported, all-star line-up of Olives, Jalapenos, Green peppers, Onions, Mushrooms, Broccoli and cheese on a tomato base. Their Chicken and Sea Food pizzas are also great! The Pastas are amazingly delicious. Starters - French fries in here are the best that I have had in India. Crisp, Golden yellow and fried to perfection. Their KFC style deep fried mushrooms is a classic option if you are a Vegetarian. For non-veg lovers, you must try their grilled Basha fish from Maldives and their fusion Deepfried-smoked chicken starters. Veg Sandwich is simple and minimalistic - ideal for those who are on a low fat or vegan diet. Add fresh lettuce. To quench your thirst they have seasonal fruit juices, flavoured Mojitos and milk shakes that are really good (especially Coffee Brasilia). They have limited but nice range of ice creams. If you are with kids, then they have a dedicated game centre with video games (X-box) that I suppose most kids will enjoy. They also serve Biriyani, Chappati and a range of specialty gravies to meet the demands from Indian cuisine lovers. There is something for everyone. Location - it is located conveniently on the road that leads to Munnar Kerala from Udumalpet, with ample parking space. So an ideal pit stop to refuel your mind and soul or just to relax in the warm evening breeze of rural tropical sunset. A...
