Kurunji Restaurant Veg & Non-Veg — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Definitely, I will not recommend this place to any families. If there was an award for such then it should go to this Hotel. I really need to review this hotel.. because one of the worst hotel I had visited... I was already very hungry on that night when returning from Madurai... We were not interested in Non-veg that day, so I skipped Dindigul's famous biryani hotels and planned to eat in some good veg hotel in Dindigul to Trichy highway. I saw this one on the highway new and good looking. So we planned to eat there... First, we ordered Onion Oothappam, Ghee roast, Onion Dosa... He came with an Onion roast and the onion roast was not good and the onions were fully dry. Then he came with ghee roast without ghee in the dosa... I asked the server and they answered me that was the ghee roast, when I asked again he took the dosa and went and came back to me again and said ghee was over in the hotel and so there was no ghee roast and so we can provide only plain dosas... but the service is very poor and he server was behaving rudely... instead of ghee dosa we asked for chappathi which was also not cooked properly ... coconut chutney was also spoilt. A lot of customers were also complaining the dishes were not good...1 plain dosa costs 60 rupees and it's not worth as well. The highlight was when the biller said that the kitchen master was on leave and so they put his friend to cook and hence the issues. Nann enna kekurena, Master leave na hotel ah mooditu poo, open panni vachu en kettu ponadha elarukum vikkira..

Hospitality is also the worst.

We neither go nor suggest anybody go to this Hotel.

I Never visit this place for anything.

Had tea and snacks while moving towards kodaikanal. Variates are good so as the taste. Cost wise good either. Plain tea costs 10rs.. ginger tea 15rs... had chicken roll which was 25rs. Parking slot is good and its very spacious !! . Only drawback was, in the evening time on the outside tables they are not cleaning it properly. Lot of houseflies during evening time as the result of improper cleaning ( not improper cleaning they dont even clean ) . Pls clean everytime a customer finish his tea and snacks !!...

Have been to this place for a few times. They have opened a new Family restaurant right next to the hotel. It has good ambiance and service. Being it run by Malayali people was expecting a Kerala style biryani here. But they served the normal tamil style biryani. We had ordered chicken, mutton and turkey biryani. All three looked & tasted same, just that the meat was different in each.

Parking facility is available. Restrooms are not...
