In the blues of the lockdown I came across their site and after being barred from the sweets for so long ordered a few items late in the night. So the very next morning I get an update that your order is ready to be shipped, I thought wonderful. And the order was shipped via delhivery courier the same day. Now the wait started and to increase the agony the courier company forgot about my parcel in Bengaluru for a few days and after complaining to the courier company when I got the order it was half empty, half eaten by the rats and very skilfully covered by the tape. Thankfully I had clicked the photographs after receiving and immediately after opening in which everything was seen clearly. I messaged both SS Mittai Kadai and Delhivery, again late in the night. The first mail that I got next morning was from MSS mittai kadai that another package will be sent and apologising for the delay and the state in which I received the order. And I was out of words. The 5 stars are for their prompt response and honest dealings. They shouldn’t be the ones to compensate and apologise but they did. I had heard about this sweet stall thru internet. I am fond of snacks. I wanted to try the snacks. I had ordered couple of snacks and few sweets. Delivery was very prompt. I was getting regular update from order placement to packing to delivery from their end. While i had my finger crossed while opening the parcel as my wife was furious on me for ordering so much. I was surprised after tasting each snacks packets. It was outstanding in my views. It wasn't spicy but typical snacks type. Sweets were so fresh. I still search for my favourite solid mysore pak which is not made of ghee - old type. I tasted the first piece, it was very very good. I normally share my snacks with family and friends but i had kept the Mysore pak for myself except for some sample portions for taste to my family. I liked every piece of Mysore pak. Normal muruku and ribbon muruku was so soft and didn't hurt my stomach. Normally i have heartburns after the snacks but these snacks were too good. I meant no spicy, freshness and neatly packed.
