Mayura's Grill & Lounge — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

This is the worst place to try out in and around alyar dam.. highly not recommended for anyone...

They have a big parking space and good seating space that's acceptable..

Apart from that there are 2 dishes recommended here... One is the overly priced Rose Milk and Vegetable fried rice apart from this everything else is just another waste of money..

We tried their briyani which is the worst briyani ever tried as the street side shops give you a better briyani for a lesser price.

They gave basa fish instead of vanjaram fry...

We even tried their Tandoori chicken and it's worst... Chicken is kinda rubbery.. But the mayonnaise which they gave for that is really great...

Moreover they recommend mutton chukka we wanted it less spicy and they also gave the same.. but couldn't feel anything not properly cooked..

Their kili parota is another okay dish but not worth it as it's prepared already and so I couldn't feel the taste properly ..

Another recommended dish is the Arun ice cream which they sell here..

Overall it's overly priced for the quality they...

After Aliyar, We Came to here.. on the way back to Coimbatore city we stopped for lunch at Mayura's.... First i was skeptical with the ambiance whether the food will be good or not. I was seated comfortably under the fan as it was too hot. After entering restaurant, one lady greeted me and parents at the entrance, made us feel very comfortable. I was very hungry, so asked her to get meals. I must say i never ever had such a tasty meals in my life.....awesome taste and more than sufficient quantity. The way they serve and their hospitality was something i must appreciate. Right from the chapathi, by the way i had veg meals and ordered some boneless chicken as a side dish.....rice quantity was sufficient, served hot. other dishes like sambhar, poriyal, rasam, kootu and curd rice. Amazing taste.... I wish they could speed up the ordering process systematically for the clarity of the customer. Overall, excellent meals and tasty food ever!!!! Must visit once...

I really don't know how to describe it, let me start with the service. We waited for around 30 min just to give order and around 20 min for getting the food. The items we ordered were chicken biryani, chicken fried rice and pepper chicken. The biriyani and pepper chicken was really below average with over cooked rice and no flavoured chicken. The fried rice was better compared to other two. The price is also a bit higher. I really suggest traveling to the nearby town where you can get better food at a much cheaper price and even higher quantities. Try to avoid visiting here at noon time, it's...
