😎 UNBIASED REVIEW.........From heresay from my colleague.....In salem.....Visited the nilla soru ( tamil name ) restaurant on July 2021....Went with a lot of expectation because of its unique design ...Village based theme....
Ordered butter naan, prawn Manchurian, kulcha , special nilla sooru briyani and mutton hyderabad gravy...For lunch
😋 PROS...
Taste is good but not the best
2.food presentation is decent
Seating arrangements are unique...Bullock cart based seats...Low seating arrangement ,,,heart based seats...Bamboo seater etc
Nature based theme...With lot of free ventilation
Car parking is ok...Outside hotel...Max 6 to 10 cars and bikes 10 to 20...Can be parked
😑 CONS...
The special nila briyani is not special enough...It's like spicy tomato rice...Sprinkled with chicken piece and cashew spread in it.. It taste only spicy...Hard to eat,,,,chilled...(Not recommended)
Mutton hyderabad gravy is soo spicy...After eating it...You could breath fire like a dragon... Hence when you order....Tell them moderate spicy in food
Service is quick in 10 -15 min.......But the server number can be increased
The roof is covered in asbestos like sheet.....Since I went for lunch and it's a rainy day....I didn't feel the heat...
but on April, may month ...One can feel the hotness in restaurant
The wash basin is unique enough like well design ....But in times of covid....Using these type is not advisable....Better to provide tap connection
6.Worst of all is restroom....Not hygienic enough...
Above constructive criticism is to observe and to improve the cons....To the restaurant managemet
🤗Overall....Unique,,,,decent...With lot of potential to grow as one of the renowned restaurant in salem...If cons were corrected...

Read moreWe are 6 persons went for Sunday dinner. No one pleased with service and food. My 3 year old kid constantly asked when we will go out of this restaurant.
Pathetic service - We waited for 10 minutes. No one attended to get the order from us. We had to search for a waiter, walk to him and request him to take orders. Waiter asked us to wait for 20 minutes after taking orders. But every dish took a lot of time and morethan 20 minutes We've asked for couple of packaged drinking water bottles. Waiter added it to bill, but didn't offer it. We had to eat spicy food without water. We couldn't even able to ask again as the table is too far and no waiter came to ask whether we need anything after they delivered our order We left the restaurant with half stomach. As no one came to ask for further orders, we couldn't able to order anything. When we complained about the behaviour to cashier while paying bill. He seems to be less bothered. Looks like he is aware of his staff behaviour as everyone complains. And surprisingly nothing going to be changed as they're ignoring all the feedbacks.
Worst ambience & cleanliness - It's full of mosquitoes. Should we eat the dinner or keep scratching our legs & hands for mosquito bites? The table and bench were very dirty and damaged A lot of webs everywhere A lot dust everywhere. Just a small wind flow will get your dish dusted Everyone praised and photographed the toy train, well, lights, lawn. Nothing is working and nothing is seen as shown in Instagram influencer videos
Foods are not worth the cost which they're charging. I won't go again and won't...
Read moreHeard about this Nila soru theme based restaurant and initial days the photos were good so we urged to visit around Nov 2023. But we were unlucky. First and the most important place was not maintained properly, sofas were torn, and the sitting area (wooden) was broken (there are many chances anyone can hurt in that hole). And the grasses were not trimmed and during night it could be risky for snakes and insects. Another major problem was the plates were washed but it smells like rotten chicken. Later we asked them to clean it(that's a worst start of the dinner as we know many issues in hotel nowadays). Then the food not sure about quality as it is dark mode. Taste is average. First page of the menu was not there due to chef issues. And this is the first ever hotel where you have to order minimum of 10phulkas. Still we ordered and we asked another 4 they said no again 10minimum 😀. And it's like whatever we ask its not there. No curd rice no soda no Arabic rolls and Arabic food. If you are planning visit during day time and get used to the place else you might fall some where. Overall:- Taste: Average Theme : Average but not maintained properly Service: okay Safety: Chances you might see a snake. Cleaning: Since it is outer area people are washing hands near table and throwing all...
