I recently had the privilege of indulging in what can only be described as a culinary masterpiece at Oceans Restaurant - the South Indian Mutton Biryani. As a self-proclaimed biryani connoisseur, I had high expectations, and I must say, Oceans Restaurant not only met but exceeded them in every aspect.
Ambiance: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)
From the moment I stepped into Oceans Restaurant, I was greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance. The soft lighting, soothing music, and the décor that evoked the essence of South India all contributed to a perfect dining atmosphere. It set the stage for what was to be an extraordinary culinary experience.
Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)
The staff at Oceans Restaurant were attentive, knowledgeable, and extremely courteous. They were more than willing to provide recommendations and answered all our questions about the menu. The service was prompt, and our dishes arrived without any delay, adding to the overall delightful experience.
Mutton Biryani: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)
Now, onto the star of the show - the South Indian Mutton Biryani. It was nothing short of divine. The aroma alone, as the server brought it to our table, was enough to whet our appetites. The biryani was presented beautifully, adorned with fragrant saffron threads and garnished with fresh mint leaves.
The rice was perfectly cooked, each grain separate and flavorful. The mutton pieces were tender, succulent, and infused with the spices that had melded together to create a symphony of flavors. The balance of heat, aromatic spices, and the richness of the mutton were impeccable. It had just the right amount of spice to give it a kick without overpowering the other elements.
The biryani was accompanied by a side of cooling raita and a spicy pickle, which added an extra dimension to the dish. The portion size was generous, ensuring that I left the restaurant with a content and satisfied palate.
Overall Experience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)

Read moreVisited first time to Ocean Restaurant. Waiters were roaming here n there and we have to wait for almost 5 minutes to understand, where we have to sit. As there are huts like, some one has to guide has to a hut which could be occupied. Then food part -i can't touch the menu card which is full of dust. Don't know whether they bother about cleanliness. Chairs, tables, menu card - could not touch. Food, not very tasty or delicious. Just O. K to eat. Roti n butter bean, chilli fish tasted good. Biriyani is worst. No desserts listed in menu n then asked the waiter and he brought sweet lime juice with soda. Just an experience. Service is not best and not worst. If you are hungry n never bother about enjoying a best time n just wanted to satisfy hunger, Ocean...
Read moreI recently visited Ocean Restaurant for dinner. While the ambience was calm and pleasant, and the food tasted amazing, the service left much to be desired.
One particular incident stood out – the check was brought to our table even before we were done eating, as if in a hurry, which felt quite impolite. To make matters worse, after we paid, there was no one around to collect the check, so we had to walk over to the billing counter ourselves.
It was disappointing that the waiter didn’t have the basic courtesy to ask before presenting the check, which disrupted an otherwise enjoyable dining experience.
To sum up: great food and ambiance, but the service needs significant improvement to match the overall quality of...
