Saravana Bhavan — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Highly disappointed with this restaurant. We went to this restaurant almost after 4 to 5 years. We often visit this restaurant earlier, during those days food were awesome, with that in mind we went to this restaurant last week. But we all got disappointed with the food, it all started with parking place. They are charging 30 bucks for parking. Not sure why they are charging for their own costumers. If they feel people coming to temple using their parking without having food then it's reasonable and they can charge for them but not with people coming from restaurant with a bill. Food was pathetic and their cost was too high. Will never visit this restaurant again. People must AVOID THIS PLACE if they are coming for the name HSB. Service also worst. Earlier they use to have huge crowd and we have seen people waiting for seats earlier, but now no crowd and restaurant is completely free. They didn't even have AC dinning when we visited that too on...

This restaurant is located just outside Vana tirupathi temple.

The size of this restaurant is small and it'll be crowded during seasonal times, so it's better to plan your visit to this restaurant as this is the one and only restaurant around this place.

The cost of the foods offered are really high as the taste and quantity of the foods weren't justified.

The service also is quite slow and there is hardly a response from a server whenever additional things are being asked for.

There is a charge for parking the vehicles and when we enter through another gate the charges may go above Rs. 50/- for a medium sized car, so it's better to park near the temple on the roads, cuz there are hardly any vehicles crossing this place.

On the whole this is not a restaurant one must visit to have decent vegetarian food, if you are really hungry wait for 20-30 mins to reach Thiruchendur/Tirunelveli and find a worthy...

We went to this restaurant while vising the Vana Thirupathi temple. The restaurant was overcrowded when we went and we entered the AC hall where we were told that meals are not available in the AC hall and we need to go to the normal hall for the same. We waited in the normal hall for half an hour before a waiter came and took the order. It looks like they didnt have enough food and they were cooking rice after seeing the crowd. We wasted almost an hour just for having our lunch. Food taste was average, customer service was average as well. They should have maintained the crowd in a better way. There was no hotels nearby since the temple is situated in the middle of the forest. So we had no other options other than waiting. Hope they try to fix this service issue next time because this is not expected from a bigger...
