After having a good breakfast in A2b Arcot, we drove steady, even though not much of traffic. We kept the car below the 90 kmph, so that we can enjoy the ride, the beautiful weather. We watched as Vellore, Pallikonda, Ambur, Vaniyambadi, and Bargur passby. We were slightly worried about the traffic chaos that happens in Vanniyambadi, but lucky for us, it was a clear smooth ride all the way through these places.

We reached Krishnagiri junction around 8.30 a.m, and took the left turn towards mettur and then on to MM hills.

Though the highway from Krishnagiri all the way to Thoppur was really fantastic, traffic was literally horrible. So much of lorry traffic on this road. Strangely one thing we observed was the two wheeler traffic was so disciplined, all the two wheelers were driving inside the bike lane.

Maybe the fear of lorry traffic has pushed them inside i believe.

Reached Thoppur, around 9.30 a.m, and we decided to stop at this hotel for a cup of much needed coffee.

The hotel name kind of impressed us too "Vaanga Vanakkam" "வாங்க வணக்கம்". Spot on...!!!!!

Was really impressed to see such a big hotel at this place. Parking was so big and spacious. Hotel was neat and clean, but the most important thing that really impressed was their toilet facilities.

Wow so neat and clean toilet, that too for a hotel bang on the highway. No Way. For a second i thought i was in USA. Damn, so neat and clean. Full marks to the guys for keeping it so clean and neat.

Also, strange, we observed that the hotel had only female staff to serve etc, which we liked it. Didn't take much photos inside the hotel, because the lady staff were standing at different places. Don't want to get us wrong.

We had a cup of coffee in our onward journey.

Since we were so impressed by the hotel, we made up our mind in MM hills itself that we will have our breakfast in this hotel on our return journey.

Menu is mostly South Indian Taste of food items is good, but cost is above average rates Even when coming from opposite direction, there is a U turn right opposite the hotel, which can lead to the hotel There is a small shop attached to the restaurant that has items needed / forgot during a travel packing (like napkins, children's toys, bags, pens, etc), and snacks, ice creams Service is good and very quick, owners and supervisors make sure you don't have a long wait time Women waiters serve, which is quite different from other hotels where women do cleaning. I kind of liked this concept. Service stops around 11pm, hence when coming close to this time be wary about the limited food options and don't expect the wholesome menu to be available

Am so glad that I got an opportunity post my review about this place. A very honest and must try joint. We had meals while travelling toward coimbatore from Bangalore. Have tried many times and never got disappointed. Each time felt too good after having food from here. This time we had meals and we were so happy and satisfied for opting to have lunch from this place . The meals had chapati then Banana flower poriyal , Ridge guard kootu, Drumstick sambar, Bitter guard Puli kuzhumbu, curd, rasam , payasam. We were surprised to see so many variety of vegetables used and for such minimal price. Service was too good. They were so polite and inviting. Overall an outstanding meal. Must try and kudos to the entire team...
