Divine Intervention by Lord Subramanya Himself.

We do not partake food prepared in mixed kitchens (where veg and non veg are prepared). So we were desperate to find a good, high quality and tasty food joint.

Shree Athi Ganesh Bhavan was our savior for two times of the day.

Looks can be deceiving. What looks like a hole in the wall type of outlet is a brilliant restaurant that excels in everything a restaurant should be - food quality and taste, speed of service, generous portions, and cost.

There could be a wait involved and you have to wait near a prospective table to grab your seat. Once you are seated, you get a fresh big plantain leaf as your plate.

Items on Menu vary but do try the Adai, Poori, Podi dosai and Pongal and vadai. YumYum.

We first came here for an early dinner and returned in the morning for breakfast. I heard that lunch runs as late as 4 pm. Please carry sufficient cash. Didn't notice any UPI or card...

My humble request to hotel management , please improve the good quality for lunch. I didn't have breakfast or dinner no comments on that. Lunch is bad in my view and people who serve make it look even worse as they don't even care what you are eating and what should be served next. People who had wound were serving food , which puts us in a very awkward position to eat the food. I took my entire family to the restaurant/mess based on YouTube videos but disappointed . Will definitely visit one more time , primarily to get an improved feeling about the mess. Sambar / Rasam / Side dish needs huge improvement in...

Top notch lunch. We just had to wait 15 mins as we entered at 2.45 pm for lunch. The wait was very worth.

We were served steaming hot rice and it took the sambar, rasam to next level. The vazhakkai poriyal n kootu were awesome. The sambar traditional n the rasam was something ultimate! There was also vendakkai kara kulambu to savour. The buttermilk was bitterless which is very rare to find in hotels.

The service was swift n warm.

A simple Tamilnadu vegetarian lunch that was top notch and cost very reasonable. Thanks to the team...

Excellent Restaurent at Swami Malai. Traditional setting, with Simple but convenient Seating Arrangements. But they still maintain the tradition that We dispose the Plantain Leaf after finishing our Breakfast/Lunch. Tasty and Delicious Food. Last week, we visited this place. Had Ashoka Halwa, Dosa, Vada, Coffee etc.Halwa was so Nice. Vada was so crispy like in Bangalore. Coffee was also very good. Prices are very reasonable and Service was Courteous. Place not to be missed while visiting Swami Malai.

Our sir took us to Kumbakonam's most famous Veg Mess. It was so crowded you need to wait outside to get inside and there was very little space to walk inside. They serve so quick and with so much care. They treat everyone as a family and ask multiple times what else do you want. Food tasted so good. They serveed rice sambar rasam buttermilk,2 poreyal and one appalam. The floor was always wet and slippery aged people need to be careful. You need to take your banana leaves and dispose it to the dustbin.

Conveniently located at the foothills of Swamimalai temple, this restaurant is a blessing to the visitors. Very tasty food at reasonable price. Coffee was prepared with Cow milk. Very courteous staff focused on delivering quality service to customers than selling unwanted food items to the customers. Authentic South Indian breakfast served at an affordable price in banana leaf. Clean interior with nice wall decorations and comfortable seating makes this place the winner!
