Sree Saravana Bhavan or Amutha Surabhi is a great pit stop in the highway between Salem and Erode as this rest area has not just this restaurant but ample other facilities enabling a comfortable pit stop.

Car parking- may not be available right in front of the shop- but the rest area is huge and has atleast the space to park like 100 cars. So drop your passengers and park it where available- a valet service would be great.

Toilets- not available specific to the restaurant customers- it was right after it was cleaned that I visited- hence it was spick. The number of toilets may feel short and a queue maybe there during peak rush hours.

About the restaurant, it’s food and service- the service is super fast- had breakfast and lunch in A2Bs in the highways and this restaurant for dinner in comparison was like super lightning quick when compared to those despite huge rush. In rush hour you might have people stand behind your chair- the management can possibly avoid this annoying situation by managing the rush with tokens or so.

The food is tasty- had paneer lollipop, karuppu kavuni dosa, chola poori and lemon tea. Except the lemon tea- which felt like Lipton powder, the rest were fresh and tasty. They have a daily special menu as well of which the karuppu kavuni dosa was tasty. The price is slightly upscale but worthy given the quality and service, again except the lemon tea šŸ˜…

Special mention to the waiter because we were asking him for food to parcel for us for next day lunch (which we told will be kept in the fridge in a couple of hours) and he asked his manager and then they came back and told that they would recommend to keep the package food not more than 2-3hours at the max! This is commendable service from them! They could’ve just told some dish and got extra business cos after all this is a restaurant may not have much repeated customer as it’s a highway restaurant. And I’m guessing other reputable chains would’ve done that.

All in all, between Salem and Erode I believe this would hands down be the best restaurant and rest area though there’s scope to make it an international...

During our journey to Kerala, we chanced upon a delightful breakfast spot that left us with mixed feelings. The ambiance was welcoming, with plenty of available tables and a quick and efficient service that got our day off to a good start. The restrooms were clean and well-maintained, which is always a relief during road trips.

The highlight of our breakfast was the scrumptious poori and refreshing tea that satisfied our taste buds. The flavors were on point, and it was evident that the kitchen staff took pride in their culinary offerings.

Another notable aspect of this place was the ample parking space, making it convenient for travelers like us who were on the road. Having a stress-free parking experience is always a plus during long journeys.

However, one downside was the pricing, which seemed a bit steep for a simple breakfast of poori and tea for three. While the quality was commendable, we couldn't help but feel that it could have been more reasonably priced.

Despite the slightly higher cost, we appreciated the overall experience. The friendly ambiance, quick service, cleanliness, and convenience of parking make this place a viable option for travelers seeking a pit stop. If the pricing could be adjusted to match the value offered, it would undoubtedly enhance the experience even further.

In conclusion, if you find yourself passing by this area, it's worth considering as a breakfast stop. Just be prepared for a slightly higher bill for a quick and pleasant meal on...

I recently visited Sree Saravana Bhavan and had a delightful experience! Here's my review:

🧼 Hygienic: The restaurant maintained excellent cleanliness throughout my visit. I was impressed by their attention to hygiene and cleanliness standards.

šŸ‘… Taste is good: The food at Sree Saravana Bhavan was delicious! Each dish I tried had authentic flavors and was cooked to perfection. I enjoyed every bite.

🚽 Restroom must be improved: While the overall experience was great, I felt that the restroom could use some improvement. It was clean, but the facilities could be upgraded for a more comfortable experience.

šŸš— Ample car parking: One of the advantages of visiting Sree Saravana Bhavan is the ample car parking available. I didn't have to worry about finding a parking spot, which made my visit even more convenient.

🌳 Good place for leisure for commuters: The restaurant's atmosphere is perfect for leisure and relaxation, especially for commuters. It provides a pleasant environment to unwind and enjoy a meal after a long journey.

Overall, I had a fantastic time at Sree Saravana Bhavan. The hygiene, delicious taste, and convenient car parking make it a great choice for dining out. Although the restroom could be improved, it didn't overshadow the positive aspects of my experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to fellow food...

This place is good pitstop. We ordered Masala bonda, Assorted baji, Pani puri, Vazhaipoo pongal and coffee.v Masala bonda - The potato filling was very different along with potato, beans, carrot and peanuts was added. It tasted good with the accompaniments. They gave dhal it was so good. Assorted baji - We can pick from available bajis, they offer three bajis per plate. We chose onion, mirchi and raw banana. Pani puri - It was served with both Mint Pani and sweet Pani. It was good too. Vazhaipoo pongal - This is a must try here, it was mind blowing. I would definitely recommend this for anyone. Coffee - This is a must try, tasted too good. Coffee lovers will definitely enjoy. Snacks - They have wide variety of snacks, I bought Kara podi for idlis and dosas. It tasted really good. Atmosphere - Always it's crowded, but it's managed properly. Facilities - Neat restrooms are available, electric vehicle charging points are available too. Service - It's bit slow, can be improved. This place is very good place to visit with family and friends.
