Suchow Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

I Reflected Much Before I Decided to Pen These Thoughts Down….as a Paying Consumer, I Have a Moral Obligation to Express my Feedback ….Whether or Not The Business Welcomes Such ( as it SHOULD ) and DOES Something About. About a Fortnight Ago, I used SWIGGY to Order a Portion of Egg Noodles, a Portion of Roast Pork with Capsicum and a Portion of Sweet & Sour Veggies and Paid the Princely Sum of Rs 817 ! In General, I found that ATLEAST there was a Decent Assortment of Veggies BUT I did not Particularly Enjoy the Pork ( It did not appear to have been ROASTED ) and The So Called “ Sweet & Sour “ Veggies Prepared in a Plain Insipid White Sauce. Since there is no “ Chinese “ Restaurant Near where I live, I decided to Patronise SUCHOW in the Hope that I could ENTHUSE the Owner to Serve me a Nice Tasty Lunch Upon Taking my Feedback. So I Landed Up at The SUCHOW “ Chinese Restaurant ” …My first Impression is that it Looked like a MESS than a “ Restaurant ”. I Could Not BELIEVE What I saw upon Entering : One of the Waiters was Actually Sitting Down IN the “ Restaurant ” and Chopping Up SPRING ONIONS ….LOL I met the Owner’s Son and Explained the Context of my Visit telling Him that I travelled 9Kms just to have a Nice “ Chinese” Lunch, proceeded to Compliment Him and Then Gave him my Feedback on my Rs 817 worth of Experience when I Ordered Through SWIGGY. I was SHOCKED by the Young Man’s ARROGANCE when I told him that the “ Roast Pork ” was not Roasted Enough and The Sweet & Sour Veggies tasted Insipid whilst REQUESTING him if I could have the SAME Dishes with a Little Attention to My Feedback. To my AMAZEMENT, the Young ARROGANT Man Whilst REFUSING to USE my Feedback to Prepare me the Meal I Requested for actually asked me to GO SOME PLACE Else If I did not Like Their Food ( LOL ) ! He Went on to Explain that The Pork was “ BOILED ” in POT ROAST and He Used Sugar and Vinegar to Make His “ Sweet & Sour Veggies ” ! So STRAIGHT UP ….His Menu Description is MISLEADING ! Anyways, since I had travelled the distance in Peak Traffic, I INSISTED on partaking of their food and I HOPED that The Arrogant Young Man Would ATLEAST Make the EFFORT to take on SOME of my Feedback. I ordered a “ Crab Soup ” …It was a DISASTER becoz there was HARDLY ANY Crab Meat NOR Egg White in it. I Ordered a “ Chicken Spring Roll ”…Which was GOOD …BUT had Hardly ANY Chicken in it !. The “ Roast Pork ” had Lots of Slimy Pieces of LARD and the So called “ Sweet & Sour Veggies” Tasted like they had been DUNKED in His UNIQUE Sugar & Vinegar COMBO ! I Paid Rs 800 Yet Again and With NO Bill. I am ASSUMING That I Paid Rs 800 ( Inclusive of GST ) BUT With NO ITEMISED BILL handed to me on my Payment Opens up Another Can of Suspicion ….Where Does the GST Amount Go ? In Conclusion, if You Crave a Decent CHINDIAN Meal, you are Far Better off Taking the Time to Travel to a Restaurant Operated by a Typical Indo Chinese Owner Becoz SUCHOW is Definitely NOT “ Chinese ” NOR is Suchow a “ Restaurant ”. The Young ARROGANT Son of the Owner Should in my Limited and Humble Opinion LEARN to SMILE at the Owner’s CUSTOMERS who Actually PAY Money and so DESERVE Some Respect in ADDITION to the VALUE that...

You will Experience Delicious Chinese Foods here.. You will be able to feel The Chinese Food Aroma Once you are entering To The place.. Ofcourse Their foods has "The Special Chinese Flavours". They are Pocket Friendly and their Quantity and Quality Is Worth The Money💯 The Food has made Justice for Their standards. During This Pandemic, We should Not be expecting more good Services as the staffs are in Demand. This Is An Underrated Chinese Place. Must visit with friends and Family (Not a big group as they have Less Seatings). Their Price is According To Their Place So the Ambiance is Comfortable to Dine In And They Maintain It Very Clean(Not Complaining any). So I will share my Own Opinion about the Food I Ordered, 🍳Chicken Lung fung Soup - Was Extremely Delicious👌🏻Must Try!💯 🍳 Chicken Fried Wontons - Best Wontons I ever Had 💯❤️ 🍳 Chicken Spring Roll - The Quantity and Taste was awesome but the stuffing Was bit oily. 🍳Hot pepper Chicken - Very Good 👌🏻 🍳 Chicken with hot garlic Sauce - Sweet and Saucy chicken. Very Good💯 🍳 American Chopseuy - Great! 👌🏻 Must try 💯 🍳 Chicken Fried rice - Flavourful Rice was Good too👌🏻 ( Needed more chicken Bits and egg scramble) 🍳Chicken Schezwan Noodles - Guys they have the best Noodles Must Try💯 Over-all It was a Good Experience.. Based on the post a few days back in the Coimbatore Food Guide FB group, I visited this restaurant today for dinner with my friend. A small scale restaurant with so much varieties in Fried rice, noodles, spring rolls and more . We started off with Chicken noodle soup . With Yee Fu noodles for one by two, the quantity was so much with great taste it almost filled our stomach's. Then we ordered Yang chow fired rice and Szechuan Pork for main course. Fried rice 🤩😋😋 was ultimate with authentic flavour I just loved every spoon of it. The Szechuan Pork tasted super to, with sufficient spice and most importantly it was more Chinese than what usually other restaurants offer in the name of Chinese food. A few pieces were bit chewy (overcooked) which I informed the owner and he was gracious to say he would see to it in the future. 📜After a great meal when the bill came we were surprised. It was so light on the pocket. 😍👍👍. For the taste and quantity offered the price is worth every penny💰.
