I had a highly disappointing experience at Tawa Club Veg Restaurant. The service was extremely poor — the stewards were not only inattentive but also lacked basic table etiquette. It was evident they had no understanding of how to serve food properly or even what they were serving. When asked about dishes, they had no knowledge of the flavors or ingredients.
Being situated in South India, I expected some regional variance, but what was served in the name of North Indian cuisine was far from authentic. The food lacked any real taste or depth, and it felt like the restaurant was simply trying to imitate North Indian flavors without understanding them. The worst part was the paneer — clearly analog, rubbery, and quite possibly unhealthy. It was unacceptable for a place claiming to serve quality vegetarian food.
Overall, the food quality was extremely poor, the flavors were dull, and the experience felt like a complete waste of time, money, and even a risk to health. I would strongly not recommend this place to anyone looking for genuine, tasty, and safe...

I rarely write reviews, but this place truly deserves a warning label. I ordered what they called “Veg Biryani” – and it turned out to be one of the most underwhelming meals I’ve had. First off, the quantity was laughable – served in a tiny bowl that looked more like a sample than an actual meal. For the ridiculously high price, I expected at least a decent portion, but nope – they delivered a child’s serving with a side of regret.
The rice was overcooked, greasy, and barely had any real vegetables. Just a few bits of carrot thrown in like an afterthought. The so-called “raita” was basically sour curd with no flavor at all. Everything about it screamed lazy and overpriced. To top it off, the presentation was the only thing they seemed to care about – because the food definitely didn’t match the looks.
If you’re looking to waste your money and leave hungry and annoyed, this place is your spot. Otherwise, steer clear....
Read moreExtremely disappointing experience. The food quality was poor, portions were minimal, and the high pricing was completely unjustified. The Vegetable Biryani was bland and dry, with no real flavor or freshness. The Vegetable Fried Rice was oily, tasteless, and seemed reheated. The Vegetarian Thali was the most underwhelming — tiny portions, cold rice, sour curd, and a stale papad, making it feel more like leftovers than a proper meal. Service was equally poor,no food serving, with disinterested staff and no regard for customer feedback. Given the high cost, this place offers extremely poor value. I would not recommend...
