One of the worst dining experiences ever – Palm Restaurant, Coco Lagoon Pollachi

We booked here expecting a proper meal, but instead were handed biriyani we never asked for. To make things worse, the chicken biriyani caused diarrhoea and vomiting for those who ate it – clearly pointing to food safety issues.

When I called the hotel to report this serious problem, they casually brushed it off, said the GM would call – but no one ever did. Repeated follow-ups? They cut my calls. My family tried again, same rude treatment.

We spent ₹11,000 here, and in return got food poisoning, zero accountability, and an establishment that doesn’t even have the basic courtesy to respond.

Pathetic service. Absolutely unprofessional. If you value your health, avoid this place...

We booked expecting proper meals but were served biriyani instead. The chicken biriyani led to severe food poisoning – with diarrhoea and vomiting for those who ate it. For a so-called premium resort, this is completely unacceptable.

When we reported the issue, the staff promised a callback from the GM, but no one ever contacted us. Repeated attempts to reach them were either ignored or our calls were cut. Even when another family member tried, the response was the same – silence and rudeness.

We spent ₹11K and got nothing but unsafe food and arrogant service. If management cannot even acknowledge such a serious problem, it shows how little they care about their guests. Strongly advise...
