Nalli gosh biryani not so fresh and service was rudeNalli gosh biryani is a delicious and aromatic dish that originated in the Mughal era. It is made with lamb shanks, which are cooked with spices and yogurt until tender and falling off the bone. The meat is then layered with fragrant basmati rice, saffron, fried onions, mint and coriander leaves, and cooked on low heat in a sealed pot. The result is a mouthwatering biryani that has a rich and complex flavor, with a hint of nutmeg and mace.
I had high expectations when I visited Nalli House, a restaurant in Khilgaon that specializes in nalli gosh biryani. However, I was disappointed by the quality and service of the place. The biryani was not so fresh and had a stale smell. The rice was dry and clumpy, and the meat was tough and chewy. The spices were not well balanced and the biryani lacked the characteristic aroma of nalli gosh. The portion size was also small for the price.
The service was rude and slow. The staff did not greet us or take our order promptly. They were busy chatting among themselves and ignored our requests for water, napkins, and extra plates. They also did not clear our table or bring us the bill until we asked them several times. They did not apologize for the delay or thank us for our visit.
I would not recommend Nalli House to anyone who loves nalli gosh biryani or expects good service. It was a waste of time and money, and I will not be going back...
Read moreSorry for the delayed review but a great location, right on the sagar highway in Turkayamjal and around 45 mins from the LB nagar cross roads.
On a friends recommendation we went in and it was a very nice setup; newer building, bright and well lit ambience. The restaurant is on the 1st floor and elevator is available.
Free road side parking as well as valet service available! They have a takeaway on the ground floor for online orders.
They have banquet halls, kids play area as well as rooms!
We went in for a late lunch and we quickly noticed that the entire place was speckless and hygienically maintained by the entire staff!
We had the Mutton Bone soup which was very flavourful! The Mutton Khandari Kebab was highly seasoned and very well done! We also ordered the Afghani Handi Chicken with butter naans; this combo just melted away smoothly in the mouth! We ended the feast with a Special Chicken Biryani and Curd Rice.
I will recommend you all to please try the scrumptious food here ASAP if you are on that side and do add your pics/review so it is...
Read moreI ordered paneer biryani from Tulips Restaurant and received non-vegetarian pieces in my food. Being a vegetarian, this is utterly unacceptable. When I called the restaurant, they openly admitted that if any special notes are added (like "make it spicy"), they simply mix extra masala from the non-veg platter. This is shocking and unacceptable behavior.
When I informed them that I would visit the restaurant with the plate I was eating from to show the evidence, they told me to raise a complaint through Zomato, as the order was delivered via their platform. They (zomato) also claimed that Zomato, being just an aggregator, cannot control or monitor food quality. They further mentioned that they would initiate a penalty for this misconduct.
This negligence is unacceptable. Food safety authorities need to take strict action to ensure quality and prevent such incidents. Mixing vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is a highly sensitive issue, and not everyone will remain...
