Review of Lovely Punjabi Dhaba
If you’re on the lookout for authentic vegetarian fare at budget-friendly prices, Lovely Punjabi Dhaba is a hidden gem worth visiting. Located conveniently on the main road from Bowenpally to Suchitra Road, right next to a petrol pump, this pure vegetarian establishment embraces the essence of a traditional dhaba, with a no-frills approach that prioritizes food over ambiance.
When I arrived around 9 PM, the place was bustling with diners, a testament to its popularity. It’s clear that this is a go-to spot for locals craving hearty vegetarian meals. The menu offers an impressive variety, with most dishes priced under 120, making it accessible for all.
I started my meal with the butter rotis, which arrived piping hot and perfectly cooked. They were fluffy, though I found the edges slightly undercooked. The star of the evening was undoubtedly the Pannee Kheema. This dish stood out for its rich flavors and generous portions, making it a must-try for anyone visiting.
I also sampled the tomato rice, which was flavorful but a bit on the heavier side due to the generous amount of ghee used. While the food excels in taste, the dhaba’s rustic vibe may not be for everyone; there’s no fancy decor, just simple tables and a lively atmosphere filled with the chatter of satisfied customers.
Overall, Lovely Punjabi Dhaba delivers delicious vegetarian cuisine that satisfies both hunger and taste buds without breaking the bank. For more food explorations in Hyderabad, check out LETSEATHYDERABAD on...

Again fast food center is far far better. Water bottle - taste like Tata water Daal fry - plain daal cooked and tossed in pan with some garnish ingredients and thrown on face. No taste no flavour. Kaaju fri curry - average amount of kaajus. No kick in taste. Saada gravy. No favour. Tantoori roti 4 - common everywhere Bill 520 Satisfaction -Nill Money - Big bokka Time & Money- Bokka Fuel - locals can try
Note: dont go with rice absolutely half cooked.
All dishes has half quantity though you pay full price

Read moreI wanted to share with you about my recent experience at the Lovely Punjabi Dhaba Pure Vegetarian located at Bowenpally Checkpost. Despite its cozy and roadside setting, the food served there is absolutely delicious. I had heard about this place before, but had never had the chance to visit until today.
Their menu is limited, but the prices are very reasonable. Having tried food at many other dhabas before, I can confidently say that the food at Lovely Punjabi Dhaba is entirely different and worth trying. During my visit, I had kaju masala, roti, jeera rice, and a water bottle, all for just Rs.240/-. If I had the same meal at any other dhaba, I would have easily paid twice that amount.
Despite the humble setting, the cutlery provided at the dhaba was very clean. I highly recommend giving Lovely Punjabi Dhaba a try, regardless of its ambiance or location. The food they serve is...
