I have been eating Paradise Biryani Since I was a Kid, This place was legendary and attracted the world for its Lip smacking Food, Sadly it hasnt kept up with time and the taste has either remain stagnant or there are others like Pista House for example who have upped the game to such a level that Paradise is literally struggling due to competition.
Honestly I stopped eating from Paradise because the taste of their meat became too bland for me, after years today I just wanted to see if anything has changed and I wanted to Support this empty place, But I now understand why 1s a bustling restaurant is almost empty everywhere, the taste is nothing short of mediocre, the chicken felt like its stale, Rice of inferior quality, for the price Paradise charges, its 0 value for the portion and taste, Paradise was a legend and I hope they have it in them to rediscover itself by hiring better cooks, changing the recipe according to the area of their Premise, take Pista House for example they do an extensive survey of the area and the taste is flexible according to the areas needs, they doing great, Paradise also needs to UP its game if it wants to stay relevant, there are literally 100 places better than them now at a better price, I absolutely want a Legend like this to stay relevant and thrive, its historical and synonymous with HYD.
I am Giving 5 Stars because a sweet lady who took the order genuinely put in an effort to understand How I want my food to be, she asked to if I needed Double Masala or Normal, Chest Piece or Leg, Extra Raita & Sala, she also requested That I rate them well if I liked the food, I sensed a feeling that they are trying to stay relevant and I absolutely loved the effort being put in by this lady so 5 Stars only for her but from the bottom of my HEART Please come up with a better recipe for your Biryanis, The Meat and chicken has to have flavors, the Rice has to have that fragrance when cooked should radiate on the road to attract customers while they drive, Hope and Wish Paradise the Best to regain its loosing Sheen :)

Read moreI had been having 'REAL' Paradise Biriyani since 1970s till it became Corporate in about 2000. Couple of years down the corporate paradise I stopped because the culture of staff and the ORIGINAL taste was missing. Now I visit Secunderabad Paradise whenever some relative comes to Hyderabad and wants to taste the ' WORLD FAMOUS ' biryani, I take them to show what is worst thing could happen to a once really delicious biryani. Yesterday also while driving around Hashmatpet a visitor pointed to Paradise. Assuming that being a new outlet they may at least give a better service. Worst customer service. The arrogant lady ( only one staff ), even went to the extent of telling me ( aged 75 years.. and having tasted the original old biryani) ' You don't know what is a biryani.'. I asked ' Is the biryani cooked here or it comes cooked from Secunderabad?' She said ' We cook fresh here.'. Definitely a lie.
Drinking water.. it did not come till the food was finished. We had to ask for it. ' You didn't ask for it earlier' was the reply.
Also' Paradise does not give finger bowl. Do you not know it'..

Read moreI am extremely disappointed with my visit to this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the service was below basic standards. The staff seemed completely uninterested in attending to customers. It took a long time before anyone even came to our table, and when they finally did, the attitude was careless and unfriendly. Even after placing the order, the waiting time was unnecessarily long, and no one bothered to update us or apologize for the delay....the manager was very useless .. When the biryani finally arrived, it was a huge letdown. The rice was mushy and overcooked, lacking the distinct aroma and texture that a good biryani should have. The spices were unevenly mixed, leaving some bites bland and others overly salty. The meat was dry, chewy, and didn’t taste fresh at all. Honestly, it felt like reheated food rather than something freshly prepared. For the prices they are charging, this level of food quality and service is unacceptable. I had high expectations but left completely dissatisfied. If you are looking for good service and authentic biryani, this is definitely not...
