Rajugari Thota - A Disappointing Experience Rajugari Thota, once known for its traditional flavors and quality, seems to have lost its charm recently. I visited this place with high expectations, especially after seeing their special dish for the dayβMutton Biryani. However, my experience was far from satisfactory.
Food Quality & Pricing We ordered Mutton Biryani and Paneer Biryani, expecting a flavorful meal. Unfortunately, the Mutton Biryani was a major letdown. The dish was filled with bones, and not a single piece had sufficient meat. Paying βΉ500 for a plate that barely had any edible portion felt like a complete waste of money. The Paneer Biryani, on the other hand, was just average, lacking the rich flavors and freshness one would expect at such a price point.
The overall taste of the food was not up to the mark. Given the high pricing, we expected premium quality ingredients and well-balanced spices, but it was clear that the restaurant was overpriced for the quality they served.
Ambience & Service On the positive side, the ambience is good, with a well-maintained seating arrangement and a pleasant atmosphere. Additionally, they offer decent parking, which is convenient for visitors. However, these aspects alone donβt justify the visit when the food itself fails to impress.
Menu & Service Issues Another major drawback was the outdated menu. There were no proper vegetarian options listed, making it difficult for those who prefer vegetarian dishes. The lack of updates in the menu indicates poor management and a disregard for customer expectations.
Final Verdict Overall, Rajugari Thota is not worth the money. While the ambience and parking are plus points, the subpar food quality, high prices, outdated menu, and lack of proper vegetarian choices make it a disappointing dining experience. If you're looking for good biryani, this is not the...

I was traveling in fresh bus and had a halt here for ev bus charging and provided complementary food for fresh bus users... Then the server approached me and asked my mobile and wrote the review (quoted part) later i edited.... Apart from taste.. my suggestion to owner is reduce the price... Like tea ie 65 .. if it is 40 i would have it.... Single roti 60+ around i didn't remember exactly... 30 is good enough ...all others prices also ...... Let's see how many from bus are ordering extras... 1 or 2 out of 50 if u reduce price it will be 10 to 15 out of 50...... Think of selling more quantity with less profit more business more profits..... (At any price... what ever the business quality is trust) u can't say u are cooking something for which the cost of cooking is reasonable or worthy.... We know the making cost of dishes and maintenance .. some one who is sitting in home might not know about prices but for someone who is traveling from hyd to vijaywada vice-versa will know the prices .. One more thing u can say we are for elite and premium peoples but ur foot fall is mostly fresh bus travellers... Mostly the business sales which is running is forced business by halting busses there for lunch and dinner .... It is not even located in aresa like jubilee hills, madhapur, hi-tech city etc to justice ur prices it was on highway travelling people are u r coustomer for whom having premium food is not first priority.... They just need good food for that day just it.... Even if they like the food and ur prices is okay for them.. but they can't simply revisit due to distance constraint from both hyd and bwz.... Who wants to 100 km for food ..... So re think of prices coustomer range , interest .... Have a good day .....

Lot of parking, that too covered, that's good! lot of tables, all full but found one sofa table so we 4 sat down happily; the order was taken but boy o boy, the shrimp biryani was very bad; As soon as the biryani was served, we all could smell the rawness of the shrimp but not the server not the cook, strange; what a bad start! We asked the server to remove the biryani as well all our plates.
We asked for the Raju Gari Kodi Palav then and it was much better; when we repeated the same item, we got from a fresh pot and it was much much better in taste, colour and the gravy flow consistency!
We also ordered the pappu charu annam and curd rice; both were below par and curd rice did not have much poppu and was not served with the pickle either! The server was very quick and decent!
The menu is a joke - you cannot have the same menu on both sides right? This is not a road side eatery or a small street stall; it is simple and easy to have the starters on one side and the main course items on the other! They should have a 2 liner description to the items and the items are for sure pricey!
We wanted to try the Tandoori Chai; i was going to order 4 but the best friend said, lets try one 1st and voila....the chai is sweet drink not a hot drink...they do not have an option of less sugar or sugar less; the worst part is they were serving the chai off a thermos in to the tandoori pot then into the earthen chai glass!
To end this review, i think we went in with huge expectation and unfortunately with each item we tried it kept falling off the ledges one level at a time!
Please do try here at your own risk and do add your reviews, pictures so it...
